PUNISHER STORYTIME
All this year I'm storytiming Punisher comics, usually once per week (though I might post more frequently at certain points), and mostly focusing on pre-Ennis material (possibly with the occasional Ennis or post-Ennis story).
A couple weeks ago I storytimed the first 10 issues of Punisher's first ongoing series. I think what I'll do this week is continue where I left off. Not sure how many issues I'll post. I guess I'll just keep going until I feel like stopping. Probably'll do at least 5 issues minimum, but it could be as much as 10, which would go more or less exactly to image limit, so DO NOT POST REACTION IMAGES.
So let's get right into the thick of things...

Does The Punisher have the most often referenced origin in all of comics? I doubt any other comes even remotely close.
>>89630688
>Frank crying
That is always going to be an unnerving sight.
>>89643717
It is pretty streamlined when i think about it. Even the whole 'Nam ordeal need no inclusion to understand Frank's deal. Overall Frank's inciting incident can easily be a paragraph,a narration box, a thought bubble, speech bubble, a page or two, or a whole mini.
>>89630712

It's absolutely the Manson family. I also love the satanic panic and gang/drug stuff all over these comics. It bleeds 80's.
