A commercial for rick and morty season 3 will air day of the Superbowl.
cool source bro

Blah blah blah source blah blah blah
>>89609746
that seems like a bad idea.. why?
>>89609953
It'll be overshadowed by the many other much more interesting commercials.
So further reason why OP is lying.
I'll believe youwhen you tell me you love me, Dan
>>89609746
Oh cool, I like birds. What more can you tell me of this 'Superb Owl'?
>>89609746
>$4 million per 30 seconds of air time
Yeah, sure. I believe you.
Wasn't it on an indefinite hiatus or something?
If this happens
the Falcons Win
Yeah no, Rick and Morty is successful but not that successful.
>>89609953
The people who watch the superb owl don't watch cartoons other than Family Guy. They probably already know about Rick and Morty and [as] wouldn't blow that much fucking money on it.

I didn't mean 'this is a bad idea why' i meant 'this is a bad idea. why are they doing it?'
also
how would people who don't watch cartoons other than family guy know about rick and morty? doesnt that shoot our point in the foot?
>>89612322
The also watch the Simpsons, which Rick and Morty had an opening couch gag for.
>>89612322
Rick and Morty is at the point where everyone has seen it somewhere at least once, but everybody who was going to watch it already has.
For another reason [as] wouldn't do it, and maybe this is reaching, but R&M is probably a little too nsfw-y for it. Simpsons or Family Guy are basically oldies shows that are considered "raunchy PG but ultimately family-friendly. R&M doesn't have that luxury.
>>89612534
>raunchy PG but ultimately family-friendly
>Family Guy
Does anyone have the Webm of Peter brutally killing a beached whale for a minute and a half?
Who's ready for the lefty writers to make snarky jokes about a thinly veiled Trump analogue?
>>89612600
Family Guy's primary audience is middle school boys on FOX. [as]'s (especially at later times when R&M is shown) primary audience is stoners.
Family Guy still has lower levels of shock humor than R&M to boot, and R&M goes a lot further than just unexpected shock humor as well.
>>89609746
How much does it cost to air a Super Bowl add? That airtime must cost millions, right?
>>89612909
>Family Guy still has lower levels of shock humor than R&M
You're smoking crack.
>>89613222
In Rick and Morty a kid's innocent high school crush accidentally causing his entire reality to turn into a post-apocalyptic hell of flesh monsters in which the only escape is to flee into a new reality where the alternative version of himself dies in an explosion, and he has to bury his own body looking back at him and come to grips with the fact that the original reality he grew up with is still out there with the last few survivors inevitably dying until the whole world is ruined, ultimately underscoring that life itself is relative to infinity and therefore completely meaningless.
In Family Guy a whale dies.

>>89613536
that's not really a fair comparison, FG has done a bunch of interesting epic plots before. timetravel, dimensionhopping, all kinds of other shit. it's just lame because that show is a comedy while R+M is a cerebral adventure comedy. normal-comedies trying to get deep just results in those stupid simpsons couch gags where they do a bunch of crazy cgi shit for 90 seconds or copy some other show's intro
