Welp. It was atrociously bad. Vanessa Hudgens is a great actress she didn't belong in this tripe.

Needed better acting or better comedy or supervillains that were relevant to the plot. They should've made this show Better Off Ted 2.0 but instead they made a lame, poorly acted meme quip off.

I give it a 2/10 and it only gets that because Hudgens was fantastic.

I like Tudyk and Abed, but bright eyed bushy tailed women annoy the fuck out of me.

Only times I got a laugh was Thad being a douche bag and you can find the same generic character anywhere else on tv.

It is shocking how bad this was. Vanessa and Danni I know can do better from the original trailer, don't know about the others but it doesn't seem like they were exactly given much to work with either. It's going to just get worse and worse too, lol funny gadget and nothing else can't sustain a show. The grumpy girl is especially bad, she has zero character except that she hates the main character. Every single time she's on screen the only thing she does is mention that in some way. She's a walking punchline and not a good one. Also isn't this supposed to be a show where they can make DC jokes? Instead we get an opening sequence with characters that would never be in anything anyway that's not even really a joke just an introduction, and then after that maybe 3 batman jokes (of course he gets the most), one superman joke, and a reference to Captain Marvel (not a joke). Even when Jack-O-Lantern comes back they don't even make a superhero joke, he just says the word balls. Pathetic.

Pretty much. Aside from them reusing the probably expensive footage of Crimson Fox and Jack-O-Lantern fighting from the original pilot, the only reference that wasn't Batman or Superman was someone yelling Shazam.

5/10, it wasn't that great, the jokes mostly fell flat, and in a 30 minute time slot, it was also not much. Honestly though, has some potential, just because there's a sense in it that this is the story they wanted to tell, about these ordinary shmoes in a superhero world, rather than Agents of SHIELD, which wants to be in the MCU, but can't use any of the good toys, or Gotham, which has run out of prequel stuff, and is trying to be a Batman show without a Batman. This one actually has that idea in its DNA from the very intro sequence that it's about these guys.

The opening felt really CHARMing. I feel like the characters needed to be less useless and less dickish, no one comes off as likeable, except for the jaded secretary.

That being said, the show has potential and the name drops and DC related gags were pretty decent, 6/10, I'll probably illegally stream it next week too.
