Hawkeye #3 Storytime

This must've double shipped in January or otherwise I fell into some temporal rift. Issue #2 felt pretty weak, considering the mystery element with the gang had already been set in #1

This book is just so shoddy. I was hoping it would pick up, but it's still just as bad as the first two issues.

I like the art and even the basic premise isn't bad but it's just so...bland. And overly wordy and trying too hard to be quirky.

We kind of tolerate Clint because is part of his charm and he really loves girls as a whole. But to be honest, this is getting a bit tired with this Kate run so far. I mean, this is not Johnny Bravo, geez....

Maybe the writer is trying to make it clear she likes dudes (or at least the meat in their abs).

In any case, this book is a bit shallow and too girl oriented for me (reminds me a bit of shoujo, and I don't like shoujo usually). First issue was fine, and there are cool scenes, and the art is nice, even if it's a bit static: but I'm not feeling like reading it, and with each new issue I'm confirming that it's not of my taste.

It's not a bad book, but it's not good enough or have incentive for me.
