For all the people that hate Bendis, just remember that he gets to spend the rest of his life under Marvel's thumb. He doesn't have the charisma to be the next Stan Lee and he doesn't have the required skillset or knowledge to become the next Editor-in-Chief. His teaching position at the University of Oregon allows some freedom, but from what I hear he mainly just brings in guest lecturers and halfasses everything,
Just be satisfied knowing that his life is at a deadend because he's incapable of improving himself. But hey, he might surprise us.
