This is because Diamonds aren't Gems, but instead, fusions of humans and Gems.

It's not clear what the real Rose wanted. Power presumably, and as a diamond she'd have a lot of it. She would have every reason to do it but it's not clear what her endgame was or even if she had an endgame. Maybe she just wanted to be queen

I created the theory because people were claiming the inverse: that Pink stole Rose's body. I hated that becuase there wasn't a motive that made sense, and any that came close portrayed her as psychotic and stupid despite all evidence to the contrary. If Rose was the one who stole Pink's body though everything falls into place
