I'm not knowledgeable in how much love they had for the show but the whole thing was done on a tax leave so... didn't they have a sort of cut-off for how much stuff could actually be made?

The last reason I heard was that it was expensive as fuck to make for very little (if any) payoff.

It should have had at least 4 seasons with a total of 52 episodes.

CN has an ever growing list of robot/mecha cartoons they either never finished or just stopped airing

They're comparatively expensive to produce, and networks seem to have no idea how to market them effectively.

Both had really good last episodes though, I don't know if I like the HMER or the reverse coop mech more.

I might have to give it to symbionic for a better large battle though, landing a mech on a giant spaceship is amazing.
