Additional writers and re-writes happen all the time in movies. Spider-Man Homecoming has six writers.

This guy was originally pretty hype because he won the Oscar for Argo but Argo has aged like shit and he's done nothing since.

Terrio also re-wrote the Batman V Superman script which caused many thread like "SNYDER VISUALS WITH AN OSCAR WINNER'S SCRIPT! DC IS SAVED!" so I'm not sure what about more of the same from WB his is supposed to be exciting

Yeah, but those writers hadn't just written a script for a movie featuring the same characters, set in the same universe that received as divisively as BvS was. Terrio bears responsibility for the current state of the DCEU that some fans are significantly unsatisfied with. It doesn't seem unfair to be worried that his being allowed back into the party may lead to more of what people didn't like about BvS.

Well, I'm not saying that particularly. I'm just saying that The Flash has lost multiple writers, been rewritten at least a couple of times, was just given a complete rewrite. My hype for Batman was based on Affleck directing, and he is done with that. Who knows who they'll get to take over. Nothing has been received as across the board as I'm sure Execs hope they will, and there is nothing but disappointment expected from WW or JL at this point, at least for me. WB needs a solid unqualified win with this universe and for the life of them, they just can't seem to get one. Box Office is one thing, but they can't get the near universal positive reception they got for TDK or anything near that. Aquaman seems to be the only one that is currently ramping up pre-production, and that might be because WB wants to see if JL or WW can turn a corner before agreeing to continue at full throttle.

Sure. You have to remember that Terrio rewrote BvS from a script that was done by Goyer and Snyder. So that why some people probably didn't like it. He was uses ideas and plot points from some hacks. Johns and Affleck wrote this so that combinations is already a much better starting point than BvS. The real deciding factor will be JL, because he wrote JL with Snyder.

b) Most movies open earlier - 1 to 2 weeks - in Europe and other markets not confirmed but it can help
c) 1st Weekend with 0 competition
d) Mummy in the second week so it is still expected to have a big drop - just like BvS and SuicideSquad - still is the only competition and 3rd week it as Cars 3 but is not a direct competitor since it is a kids and family movie

Deeply flawed, but fun all the same. I felt the same way about Suicide squad, deeply flawed, but still a very fun time.
