Great premise and the art is pretty, but jeez I'm just getting tired of Remender's inability to properly escalate a plot. It felt like a random soap opera where nothing mattered and none of the interesting themes or worldbuilding developed satisfyingly. It just devolved into a bunch of set pieces for Remender to focus on dysfunctional people and awkward interpersonal issues. Disappointingly boring.

i liked it enough to buy the first two tpb (on large sale at my lcs) but not enough to continue. honestly wish i just got the first one. the art carries it alot, but the twists just turn shitty
