What is Corner Gas canuckanons?

Its a sitcom about people living in a small town called Dog River, Alberta. Corner Gas is where the main character lives. Never really got into it but it has a fanbase that kept it alive

My boyfriend's family is from Saskatchewan, so that's how I found out about it. It has a lot of in-jokes about the province, so it's popular there.

After being subjected to reruns of it, I have to admit I like Corner Gas. The episodes play out kinda like a series comic strips.

Its not exactly laugh out loud funny, but I have canadian grandparents that got me the first couple seasons on dvd for christmas over some years, and I gave it a watch.

Its got some good humor in it. You just have to be patient. Its not over the top of rapid fire by any means, its just a cozy show with some good comedic buildup. Good enough that my family still quotes some lines from it.
