Fuck, I can't think of any show.

I was the artist of faking sick school days, but I didn't do it often (until I got an Xbox. The good ol' black one). Mostly because; I cannot think of ONE thing that made it worthwhile. Sometimes, sure, I wanted to take a break from school. But I was restricted on my computer time, so watching TV was fucking horrific. Except for the occasional Johnny Bravo or Edd Ed n' Eddy or any other classic there was NEVER anything worthwhile on T.V. 'till after class.

Didn't have cable in my room until I was 17. So it was PBS, soaps and Price is Right. Also I'd get really into the news too. Fox Kids was a pretty good time if I remember correctly. I can't think of too many. I was going to school in the late '80s and early '90s and there were cartoons on like, 10 different channels at the same time. FOX, Local syndicates, USA, Nick, Disney, TBS, TNT, Family Channel, WPIX, Cartoon Network. Even Sci-Fi showed cartoons in the morning back then. If I didn't like what was playing on one, I just chose another. There were too many options back then.

From my Mexican winter break experience this year:
>6:00 a.m. "Harvey Beaks" Nick
>6:30 a.m. "The 7D" Disney (not that good, but neither that bad)
>6:45 a.m. "Chowder" Boomerang
>7:30 a.m. "Back at the barnyard" Nicktoons
>8-9:00 a.m. "TUFF Puppy" Nicktoons (same as 7D)
>9:30 a.m. "Hey Arnold" Nicktoons
>10:00 a.m. "Danny Phantom" Nicktoons
>10:30 a.m. "Jimmy Neutron" Nicktoons
>11:30 a.m. "Wander Over Yonder" DisneyXD
>12:00 p.m. "Miraculous Ladybug" Disney
>12:30 p.m. "Pickle & Peanut" DisneyXD
>1:15-2:00 p.m. "Looney Tunes" Boomerang.

I wouldn't say it's that bad, but still previous years were better. I also left out sitcoms I like, but we can't talk about them in this board

I enjoy this show, and I don't know why.
It was ugly to look at, but something made me like it.

Baby Looney Tunes was probably the first truly shitty Cartoon Network show that wasn't some old Hanna-Barbera re-run garbage from Ted Turner's vault. The whole network would be shit within 5 years.

Apparently that whole talking directly to the audience as if they where next to you has a wired effect in the brain
It's the same thing let's players and YouTube's in general do to keep you engaged and watching
When you are watching YouTube somehow you don't feel alone

>>89502266

Network executives believed that kids only want to watch cartoons about kids. Batman Beyond was created because a Kids WB exec wanted a cartoon where Batman's a kid.

They still think this way to this day. Ever notice how many cartoons today prominently feature children characters? Most of them do.

I dunno, but we are fine here in Germany. Nickelodeon airs the good episodes of Spongebob and FoP in the morning. When they air the new Episodes of Spongebob and Breadwinners, Super RTL jumps in and airs Lazy Town, Jungle Bunch and Zig & Sharko (they kinda like to air french animation and internationally less-known stuff despite being the biggest Channel aimed at children in Germany). After Zig & Sharko ends, you get to pick between MLP on the Disney Channel, CGI Wickie on KiKa or Sammy on Super RTL. They then air Nexo Knights and Dinotrucks, while Disney airs these new Mickey Mouse shorts. Then we have 12:40 and Pro7 Maxx starts the Animation block (Yugioh, Dragon Ball, Pokemon, One Piece, Conan, Family Guy and Futurama) untill 20:15. Nickelodeon airs Gumball, Adventure Time, Yokai Watch, FoP, Loud House, Spongebob and Sonic Boom untill 17:00, when they air Live Action stuff.
Kika airs garbage, Super RTL the obscure but still decent stuff like Angelo, Sally Bollywood, Croods etc and the Disney channel, due to harsh competition and a lack of money, only airs Phineas & Ferb.

I had CN back when it still filled most of the midday timeslots with Hanna Barbera stuff

Flintstone Kids, Tom and Jerry Kids, and Pup Named Scooby Doo always pissed me off because they had like 10 episodes and just looped over and over again

But at least theyd show The Smurfs everyday at lunch time. With hundreds of eps that show never got old

Ok, so people hate the fun cartoons from foreign countries and less deep American cartoons from my childhood (like Yvon of the Yukon) I usually enjoy, for just not being like The Legend of Korra, Danny Phantom, Steven Universe, My Life as a Teenage Robot, Avatar: the Last Airbender, Rick and Morty, Bob's Burgers, The Loud House, Hey Arnold!, etc., yet this ABOMINATION is barely mentioned? What is WRONG with this world we live in?

But then again, what do you expect from the person who's been with cartoons for the longest?
Hell, I liked Tak and the Power of Juju, Robotboy, King, Monster Allergy, Wayside, Yvon of the Yukon, Four Eyes, Back at the Barnyard, My Gym Partner's a Monkey, Team Galaxy, Lola and Virginia, The Mighty B!, The X's, Cosmic Quantum Ray, Gormiti, The Marvelous Misadventures of Flapjack, Ruby Gloom, Street Football, League of Super Evil, Brandy and Mr. Whiskers, The Cramp Twins, Jacob Two-Two, Di-Gata Defenders, Supernormal, The Super Hero Squad Show, Kappa Mikey, T.U.F.F. Puppy, Magi-Nation, Mission: Odyssey, Best Ed, The Secret Saturdays, Johnny Test (S1), Monster Buster Club, The Gnoufs, Urban Vermin, Redakai: Conquer the Kairu, Chop Socky Chooks, Iggy Arbuckle, The Garfield Show, Growing Up Creepie, Lloyd In Space, Baby Looney Tunes, Almost Naked Animals (didn't like the name though, and the character designs take some getting used to), Scaredy Squirrel, Rickey Sprocket: Showbiz Boy, Sally Bollywood: Super Detective, Robot and Monster, Monsuno, Tara Duncan, Gawayn, Braceface, Class of the Titans, Skyland, Tupu, Titeuf, Viva Pinata, The Penguins of Madagascar, Storm Hawks, Dragon Booster, The Green Squad, My Dad the Rockstar, Stoked, Clang Invasion, Kung Fu Panda: Legends of Awesomeness, Kong, Littlest Pet Shop (2012), Winx Club, Angel's Friends, Kid vs. Kat, Jimmy Two-Shoes, Captain Flamingo, Sanjay and Craig, Monsters Vs. Aliens, Freefonix, Three Delivery, Carl2, Matt's Monsters, Eliot Kid, Girlstuff/Boystuff, Potatoes and Dragons, Zeke's Pad, Kenny the Shark, Abby Careful (I swear to god this show is like Fanboy and Chum Chum done right), Mona the Vampire, Ying Yang Yo!, The Emperor's New School, Bernard, The Basketeers, Edgar and Ellen, hell, i even enjoyed Fanboy and Chum Chum. But WANNA KNOW WHERE I CROSS THE LINE? WHEN THIS SHIT BECOMES THE #1 SHOW FOR KIDS 2-11 AFTER SUGGESTING DATE RAPE TO KIDS! Fuck Breadwinners.

A lot of people hate breadwinners, just look around youtube, if you barely hear about it here, it's because it's trash and no one cares about it, I know you're just looking for a confirmation bias, but it really is a bad show.
