>okay guys my bet's on lefty what're my odds
>>89460839
how much you wanna bet the person who tapped Max's shoulder isn't the one who sent the note and is there to take up the next page with a lame joke before we cut to Isaac
>>89460964
It is the person who gave them the note.
But there's something really weird about them, it's someone who has never spoken in the comic before and has seldom been seen.
>>89461017
Note the nameless background Burnhound that suddenly gets hidden by Dimitri's afro in the next panel. She looks like she wants to tell Max something.

Find Waldo. Post your bets /co/

>>89461082
It's the qt in pink on the left left.
She was seen watching Max contort in agony before he got the Doctopus from PJ.
>>89461082
its gonna be a spirit that actually looks like a shadow so zack can mess with us
>>89461134
The weird thing is, I scoured through all of Hitball.
We see her on the bleachers next to Ed.
But never once do we see her actually playing Hitball.
>>89461190
That would be dismissible on its own.
But between one panel in the next, first Pinkie is standing in between Ollie, Blonde, and Blue Twin.
And the next panel she fucking disappears.

>Collin's face in panel 3
>Collin draining his drink in the background on Cody's dime
Where is Cody getting all his stars?
>>89452665
whenever I re-read the comic, I start off with a smile, but by the end I'm crying
>>89461082
its obviously going to be johnny
"I know your secret"
either he's going to confront max about floating around the forest with ed in tow, or he's going to confront max about spirits

The dialogue on this page doesn't sit well with me. Feels forced again. Does it do that for anyone else? Or do people think its fine, or think its mediocre?
I'm thinking that, the jokey dialogue at the beginning of the comic flowed really naturally and organically, despite being full of puns and jokes, and sometimes being text-heavy. But now, the jokey dialogue feels like its out of a sitcom with a laugh track. It feels, unnatural.
This page in particular.
>zack LITERALLY drew in a laughtrack
hmm...
>>89461134
I don't understand how Zack's art has so much character as just flats.
Also Hitball was a drudge at two pages a week but I bet it actually reads pretty well all at once.
>>89462592
>its obviously going to be johnny
It can't be Johnny.
He was posing by the door, duh >>89461068
, not sneaking up to shove his hands in Max's pants.

I thought the joke was that they Hence

It doesn't read well all at once
Reading the comic all at once is like watching a car crash in slow motion, at the start its fine, then you get to see bits and pieces fly off in the middle, and by the end its a wreck
Any future updates could be described as where you are watching the passengers writhing and screaming in agony

hmmm you have a point
although, it could have been one of johnny's lackeys. Probably will still be one of them since they're the only ones who know he has a hobby of flying at night

Bitch does this ink and that handwriting look like anything but the girliest girly-girl wrote this?
>>89462592

Yes, they aren't really friends and Max trusts literally none of them, and the dialogue is a comically contrived exposition transition on purpose, much like "or my name isn't the Vice-Principal."
>>89460839
>--right onto the principal's head!
My god.
It's the punchline to Garcia's Pizza Incident.
Truly the deepest lore.
>>89460839
I have to admit, I like the idea they engage in all kinds of fancy cocktail-like drinks without any alcohol whatsoever. Like a cheap mockery of what they think adults do.
>>89461068
Man that chick I forget the name of is actually pretty bro
Jeff gonna hit that
