There's not really much to suggest he's repressing it. I think maybe a couple of times they suggest he's just nervous around women, but that doesn't fit with his behaviour most of the time. Usually he just doesn't notice attractive women at all (like in every beach comic) and is kind of appalled when women show interest in him.
