I don't really have a problem with what this issue did. It's writing about everyday modern problems for a particular group of people through the lens of superheroes, and that's sort of the point of cape comics sometimes.

I really couldn't get with this comic. It felt more like some bizarre victory lap of validation that any schmuck could write than a published magazine written by a professional writer. Everything could of been truncated down to maybe 5-6 pages. But then, that's cape comics, right? It's blue collar and validating and unchallenging by design.
