Really?

...it's JUST A FUCKING CLOUD OF TERRIGEN GAS. It doesn't actually HAVE super-powers, it just gives them to people.
>>
>>89403791
It has been explained that it adapts itself to each different mutant. The funny thing is how nobody but the mutants care about a supervirus travelling about the world selftailoring itself to kill people.

Like for sure, it won't start killing something else except humans. Not one of all the dangerous groups around the world will change it to be used as a bioweapon.

It's cultural heritage. Let it fly around.

Well the excuse is that now it saturating the soil so its literally going to be everywhere. But yea I agree, the mutant have been pretty dumb about this whole ordeal.

Hell they even said they could leave the planet and be safe. And after all the prejudice and random crap that happen on earth at a daily basis, that may not be such a bad option. Why not just chill on the moon or one planets that owe the X-men till they find a solution or something?

Nah, that too much common sense and not entertaining enough. Lets have a race war instead!
>>
As usual, I beg for spoilers.
>>
>>89403442

It's bizarre and repulsive that all of these Inhumans like Kamala and company would be so willing to work together to stop the mutants from saving themselves from dying in hideous agony.

It's one thing for Medusa and company. This is their whole life. I get it.

But for these characters who grew up outside of that society, how is there not one of them saying "This isn't worth fighting for."

It actually would make for an interesting conversation with Teen Scott, who still has this deranged idea that his older self "went crazy and evil" for trying to save his people from a horrifying, preventable death.

Kamala is now spearheading that very extinction.

Planetary mass evacuation sounds kinda hard, dont you think? They can easily convince people already in their group but what about random mutants or their enemies?

There's the problem of actual location. Its not like there's a billion places in space that can take in the mutant population right here, right now.

And lastly, they're not just "chilling" in space. What you're suggesting is exile. Did you seriously think that the inhumans are making efforts into removing it?
>>

>>
>>89403442
>Big strong heroic inhumans teaming up to take down evil X-Men

You can't convince me the Inhumans aren't fucking villains at this point Marvel. I don't care what you're doing. Did the two inhumans that blew up Forge's machine know that they were helping along a genocide? Are they proud of serving their genocide masters?

Oh no, the mutant genocide cloud that we don't actually need but is just kinda cool to us might be lost, we must take out the X-men for this disgrace! The first issue of this crossover showed that the Inhumans were already planning to take out the X-Men if nothing else could be done.

You can't really salvage them after Death of X, you failed and made the entire thing too lopsided. Stop trying to put heroes on their side, don't act like we're supposed to root for them either. The Inhumans need to take a bit of shit.

Because Iso did not specify why the X-Men attacked them.

She just said: "The mutants suddenly attacked New Attilan for no reason! Save us, Kamala and friends!"

Iso didn't tell them her information about Terrigen enclosing the entire Earth from her studies with Beast.

Now, I will probably have a wishful thinking, but it would be nice, if these inhumans turned their backs on attilan after learning the truth, but it won't happen, sadly
>>
>>89404955
> They don't need

Never was about needing. Terrigen is sacred, like cows and hindus, to the Inhumans. Look, I'm completely on board, why are ordinary people who weren't raised with that view fighting to save the cloud? But no, I'm onboard with fucking Medusa and company not wanting their sacred cultural shit blown up.

If you trace it back, they only left the moon because of Quicksilver stealing their terrigen crystals so he could repowered mutants that lost their powers after M-day, which resulted in the Inhumans going to war with the United States over it after the US confiscated the terrigen crystals that Quicksilver had stolen.

So, really, it IS the mutants' fault. Oh wait, Quicksilver isn't a mutant anymore.

So it's the humans' fault.

Basically, Forge builds his Machine, Storm comes and introduces Old Logan as his guardian, barks orders then leaves. Forge is sad, because he wanted to talk about their relationship.

They fly together with Old Logan to this here mission and Forge asks Logan what happened in his bad future. Logan tells him that the villain army, led by Magneto and Green Goblin killed all the heroes. Forge inquires what happened to him and if Logan killed him like he did other X-Men.

Turns out Forge of the Old Man Future was a mad scientist protecting some village in the badlands. Rhino and "his gang of degenerates" tried to take over the Badlands, but Forge kicked his ass.

The two finally talk like friends and Logan jokes about getting misty-eyed. Ororo appears again with Cerebra, talks to Forge about her feelings, how she loved him once and may both die in this war and never see each other again. They hug it out.

Cerebra claims nobody's in the radius of Forge's machine as they deploy it.

You guys know this going to end with Inhumans destroying the cloud themselves right? That is only reason they would off on telling them about the two week deadline AFTER the surprise attack. If anybody except them blew up the cloud it would just turn into an all out war, and the entire primise of Royals is them finding out about Terrigen so they can bring it BACK. Plus Karnak is still on earth.

To be fair, mutants seem to have learned that anyone who steps up need to be put down hard. Which, given their history, I get that
>>
>>89405237
As I recall, the Terrigan wasn't even supposed to be used like this. It wasn't originally a giant crazy mist cloud spreading across Earth.

This is something they just randomly decided to do, and then decided "No, we decided this is how we do it now and its suddenly sacred, you can't stop us or you die!". The Terrigan can be sacred to them, but this whole thing they're doing is new, they can't claim the process is sacred. Terrigan could be sacred in their own land, but it becomes a problem when its a genocide cloud covering the Earth.

I don't even know what to compare this to, but its dumb. Maybe if Islam decided to fly the Ark of the Covenant around the world on a blimp hung from a string, and anyone who looked upon it burst into flame. But you can't stop them because "No, this is sacred". The Ark can be sacred, but what you've randomly decided to do with it probably isn't.

That's not even how its supposed to be used, you're literally just doing it like that for no reason, that's something you developed. You can keep it in your own land and no one would bother it, but you are actively attacking people with it and you know it by now.

It's fucking retarded how narrow minded the writers have been about the terrigen problem. What in the everloving FUCK is Synapse doing on this team??????

She's part of the Unity Squad, even ignoring the fact that the entire team is currently busy with fighting Red Skull, why on earth would someone who has refused to buy the Inhuman's cult bullshit suddenly decide a race war is worth it?

Her team leader is rogue and she's friends with Wade, fucking CABLE taught her how to use her own goddamn powers.

How in earth can she justify to her friends and teammates fighting to preserve a genocidal death cloud?!

What happened with Red Skull and Xavier's brain??

Something something Hydra Cap now wants to throw all muties into camps. Despite him an Red Skull being mutates.

IvX is utterly retarded
CW2 had Carol "I have never seen Minority Report" Denvers being retarded and Tony being right for the COMPLETELY WRONG REASONS
Schism and any afterparty events are retarded, they keep trying to make Cyclops wrong but they make everyone else so retarded that he always ends up being right.
Secret Wars and Infinity were Hickman's "all buildup, all anticlimax" clusterfucks.
Original Sin was beyond retarded.
Fear Itself was just dumb as hell.
Spider-Island and Spiderverse were pure dreck.

The only event that has been good was SIXIS because it was so retarded it became awesome.

Beast isn't a traitor. He developed a treatment to suppress the M-Pox during the 8 month gap. Rogue used that treatment to stay alive and active. Beast did find a cure. The problem was it was less feasible than relocation. The cure could not be mass produced. It had to be tailor made for each mutant's individual DNA coding. Apparently neither option was acceptable to the X-Men, so they backstabbed Beast and started shit, like they always do.
>>
>>89404851
Terrigen Mist saturation means the soil, plant life, water, animal life, and bacteria are all bonded to Terrigen at a molecular level. The very act of breathing, drinking, and eating will become fatal to a mutant. Relocating a population off planet is doable. Living on a planet saturated with a harmful chemical is impossible. Did anyone watch the old sci-fi television mini series V? That was how the humans won. They saturated the Earth with a chemical that was toxic to the alien invaders. No alien invader could live on the planet, unless they accepted treatments for the rest of their lives to cope with the toxin.
>>
>>89408361
>Secret Wars
>anticlimax

There was a mass revolution against Doom, and they threw everything they had at him, ending with a good ol' fist fight against his nemesis in a neutral ground, with the rebuilding of the multiverse as the sort-of epilogue.

If that's anticlimactic, I don't know what sort of climax were you expecting.

Infinity also had the war against the builders and the BO end at the end, though Thanos's defeat was rather abrupt, so it may be argued that it was anticlimactic.

No contest on the rest, though.

Cyclops death meant nothing, Carol becoming part of Sinsters crew meant nothing, Thanos death meant nothing and Maximus death meant nothing.

>>
>>89410493

He and Thanos jobbed to demonstrate how powerful Doom became, since the only one who could stand a chance against him was T'challa with the Infinity Gauntlet, a fight that lasted 2-3 issues, IIRC. I'll give you Carol and Maximus, though.
>>
>>89410418
Secret Wars felt rushed as fuck. Everything came crashing down but the actual story just speedran it through, Reed punched Doom in the dick and they called it a day, and pretty much all the other plotlines other than Reed coming in, getting pissed and having a fistfight with Doom were window dressing. Considering the buildup with all kinds of shit like the Mapmakers, White Ayylmaos, incursions, the entire multiverse fucking exploding, the actual Secret Wars event was insanely lackluster.

And are you for real about Infinity? After all that shit, Captain Universe just told the builders to go fuck themselves and then everyone went home.

Just finished reading this and past IvX. Is it a popular opinion to greatly dislike or at least not care about the Inhumans? Ever since they made them mainstream with their own books and stuff I didn't care. Am I missing something?
> This event it dumb
I'm glad I'm not the only one that thinks that. These motherfuckers can time travel, but they can't suck a cloud up? gtfo...
>>
>>89414694
Even more, this episode shows they can suck it up, just the Inhumans went NOPE about it.
>>
>>89414694
>These motherfuckers can time travel, but they can't suck a cloud up?
The worst part is that they fucking CAN as confirmed in this issue.
And they've been agonizing over the cloud giving mutant aids 5.0 to everyone when Forge could've at any point not only just made a vaccuum cleaner to suck up the terrigen clouds, but also make it so nothing happens to the gas and they could just give the terrigen back to the shithumans in cans so nobody would even have to fight over this.
>>
>>89414912
Have noticed if anyone likes the Inhumans in general though? I don't usually frequent these types of threads, so I'm curious about the consensus. Everyone I know doesn't even know about the shithumans.

>we need people to like us, lets go side with known terrorist and people who want to se the human race extinct
>Theres a deadly force that can wreak world ending havok, lets selfishishly try to control it while instigating conflicts then be suprised when things go south
While inhumans seem to be way more savy. I guess that comes with having a queen
I mean i lke a few mutants but as a whole thier just less intersting to me than the inhumans
>>
What's the deal with Moon Girl? Never heard of her, she just an inhuman with a pet T-Rex?
>>
>>89406550
Shhh. We need them to escalate the conflict needlessly because the writers want them to fight.
>>
>>89406531
Yeah, if Forge was capable of building a machine that captures and compresses the cloud, then they could have just done that from the get-go. Inhumans get to continue using terrigen to let their people go through terrigenesis and the mutants don't have fear getting m-pox.
>>
>>89406589
You're asking me to believe the Inhumans are all some hive mind who would be okay with the mist killing thosaunds across the globe once it dissipates with no way to escape it.

Oh, but the Xmen didn't tell anyone about it spreading, which could have convinced some Inhumans and other heroes to help them.

Marvel can't write realistic conflicts.

>she just an inhuman with a pet T-Rex?
Pretty much. She figured out she was an inhuman but feared what she'd become after going through the mists, so she tried to find some Kree artifact that she thought might help her avoid the mists.

The kree artifact opened a time portal that brought Devil Dinosaur to the present. The two of them became friends, but Moon-Girl wasn't able to figure out a way to avoid the mists in time and went through terrigenesis. Her power is that she can mind swap with Devil Dinosaur.

Her book is a fun all-ages comic. Pretty much the only comic Marvel has that is good for kids. Using her outside of her ongoing is dumb as fuck though.
