IT was...alright?

Bretty good. I didn't see it when it first came out, but I watched it a couple years ago and liked it.

Pretty GOAT. The story was interesting but needed some work, characters were memorable, great action too.
very stylish over substance but pretty good overall.

Rip copy of the original short i had had an audio track mixed in with some porn audio for some reason.I only noticed it years later

That's about it.

Great visuals
Acceptable acting.
Acceptable story ideas; very poor story execution
Poor ending
Dumb name.
6/10 barely worth watching, bit if you're curious, give it a go.
>>89396699
wow
Ending was depressing as shit.
It's like, "Great, you killed the big bad. All your friends are still dead, earth is still fucked, and you're stuck wandering its corpse for all eternity."
It probably would have been better if the machine just killed them.

This. Neat concept but pretty lackluster execution once it gets into it.

oh shit

I loved the designs and atmosphere of everything, but I think the characters and conflict could have used a bit more fleshing out.
Apart fromOne's redemption arc after he lost the illusion of control of his situationI don't remember the other characters having much going for them.

Was the original short good? I kept hearing that it worked better as a short.

It feels very much like half of the movie was just sliced off. It's got a great setting, (potentially) interesting characters, a (potentially) decent plot, but not enough time to actually get invested in anything.
>All the little characters are aspects extracted from dude
>From one guy, they became individuals
>The big bad starts absorbing them one by one
>Going from individuals back into one being
>Instead of going with the established theme of transformation of being they're just lolded now and we get a bad end
A better story would have been the various character aspects being absorbed into the machine, recombining and being able to exert an increasing amount of influence over it, resulting in the factories being used for good.
Everyone would still be dead, humanity would still be extinct, the world would still be fucked but the implication would be that the factory machine is now going to try fixing shit because of the old man's influence.
It was a very unsatisfying ending, not because everyone died but because they established this theme of transference, mirrored it and then went nowhere with it.
6/10
