Why the fuck is his name Szazs?

Why the fuck is your name faggot
GoodQuestion
>>89366799
Predictable, yet enjoyable.
>>89366792
It's not, it's actually Afggto

He's Polish?
Its due to copyright shenanigans
DC bought the Charlton characters thinking they own them lock stock and barrel but they don't. Several of the Action Heroes comics Charlton published never got copyrighted. Meaning they are public domain
Its one of the reasons why DC gave Captain Atom a new look and why O'Neil retconned Vic Sage as a stage name and made people call Vic Charles
>>89369009
But why give him a name similar to a known serial killer? And why has nobody done a story about it?
>>89369143
I read somewhere that O'Neil named him after Thomas Szasz.
>>89366758
Other than the O'Neil run, has the Question had any good runs? I'm legitimately curious and want more Vic in my library.
>>89369195
Huh, fair enough. But why no story connecting the two in-universe, it seems so obvious that a guy obsessed with questions would ask one about his surname.
>>89369325
they're all pretty good, but they're all about pretty much different characters
>>89369347
I don't understand what you're asking
>>89369347
the serial killer is Zsasz, the Question is Szasz
>>89369143
You've got it backwards.
The Question's real name was revealed to be Charles Victor Szasz in The Question Annual #2 in 1989.
The Batman villain Victor Zsasz wouldn't appear until 1992.
I'm guessing it's just a weird coincidence, since their names are similar but not the same.

I know. I am just wondering why wasn't this (Szazs and Zsasz) addressed in-universe. It seems like such a weird coincidence.
