DC Entertainment has hired Michele Wells as its new Vice President of Content Strategy.
Wells comes to the Burbank-based company after spending five years as Disney, including her most recent position as Executive Editor of Digital Content where she worked on several projects including the recent game Moana: Rhythm Run. Early in her time at Disney, she was also the Senior Editor of its comics and magazines.
Wells assumes the position left vacant after John Cunningham was promoted in July to become Senior Vice President of Sales and Trade Marketing at DC.

Make sense considering historically DC has always been the more diverse company.

Naturally diverse, at least. Not that fake ass shit Marvel is pulling with replacing old characters.

When it says she was the Senior Editor of their comics and magazines, does it mean Marvel comics or something more like Disney Ducks comics?

Marvel doesn't publish magazines.

Comic books used to be called comic mags.
