Clay is a mixed bag of issues
Clarissa's Dad is always portrayed more or less as a monster

Neither's actions are excusable, but its easier to sympathize with Clay simply because you're shown the events leading up to it, whereas all you really ever learn about Clarissa's Dad is that he really enjoys raping his daughter.

Clarissa's dad's only purpose in the comic that he exists is to be a predator. At least Clay was given a sympathetic backstory.

Clarissa's dad is by far the biggest piece of shit.

Clay was fucking god-awful for a father but at least he had a reason for being shitty, it doesn't absolve him of anything but he has reasons and seemed to acknowledge his faults by the ass end of the series(not that it helped much). But, at the end of it all, at least he didn't rape his sons. He had the decency of not doing that.

Clarissa's dad was a child molester that fucked his own daughter and didn't stop for several years, knew what he was doing was wrong and still continued to do it anyways.

Clay was terrible, but The Dad was just beyond the pale.
