The episode with Goofball John McGee was pretty bad too. I hated seeing Frankie tortured in the episode.

It's funny how they think imaginary friends are like innocent creatures who can do no wrong, when they can actually turn out to be an asshole and generally deceive you with their appearance. If Bowling Paul is anything to go by, you could create an imaginary friend and expect it to act the way you want it to, but sometimes they'll think for themselves and do whatever the hell they want.

I think the episode where Bloo asks Wilt to bring him some chips explains why we're stuck with such a toxic main cast, supporting characters, background characters, ect. Literally everyone eats from the bowl like the selfish pieces of shit they are when Wilt kindly asks for them to hold it for him. There's no way it's possible for the show to have good and appealing characters, because they would have already been adopted. It's safe to say any recurring character who's attractive looking is an asshole and the good-hearted ones are probably rejected by their hideous appearance. Then there's ones like Duchess who are both ugly and a jerk.

TL;DR: Imaginary friends were a mistake.
