We post famous artists' fanarts.
I guess Otto really likes Widowmaker
Just an impression tho.
Widowmaker is cancer
Did anyone has that art exchange between Mignola and Yu-gi-oh's mangaka?
>>89354282
Widowmakes main are either useless or gods on earth. There's no middle in between.
>"famous"
>guy who makes shemale porn
>>89354283
Fuck I gotta find that shit
Murata
>>89354263
>>89354269
>>89354278
its the "It's my style to totally fuck up basic anatomy, senpai" art
Define famous.
>>89354339
>fanart
That was a job anon.
Q-Ayashida's antman
>>89354269
>>89354436
Warren doesn't count.
He was doing doujin work in Japan for too long. He became successful drawing other peoples shit.
Horikoshi is a huge westaboo
>>89354464
Western artists, holy shit.
Go back to /a/. Anime is garbage.
>>89354436
My god they're going to butch the Major and they're going to butcher her next year. It's already shooting.
>>89354478
fuck off.
>>89354263
>>89354269
She looks like a black girl
>>89354491
God damn who drew this?
>>89354339
Murata makes good shit. He's probably got the best sense of dynamic action of anyone alive today.
>>89354283
>>89354283
>>89354311
I gotcha.
>>89354501
>>89354504
Dope
>>89354484
Yeah except we got an real action director and Cameron's screenplay; casting is not total shit (Alita and vector are pinpoint) and Cameron can't really fail anything since he's some kind of modern era god.
>>89354500
>He's probably got the best sense of dynamic action of anyone alive today.
Have you not heard of Samura bro.
Literally everything Murata does, Samura was doing 10 years previously. He even did the dumb animation thing.
>>89354512
I have low hopes for Alita just because it's a person project for Cameron and he's been fighting to make it for so long. It might turn out to be another Speed Racer. GiTS is going to be ass though.
>>89354519
Like, seriously.
>>89354525
>implying Speed Racer isn't God tier despite the box office mess it was
>>89354525
Not to mention he's really only interested in the Blitzball stuff. Which is good for action movie, but so much worse than the first and last third of the series.
>>89354533
That was kind of what I was implying. When I say low hopes I mean I have some inkling of hope that it might not be shit. Not much but a little. Speed Racer was clearly a project of love by the Wachowskis. Unlike Evolution which was just a cheap cash grab they actually knew and loved the original series and managed to do it justice. Considering how much love Cameron has for Battle Angel Alita he might do it justice, though it's still a long shot. Not many in the west really get what makes anime tick.
>>89354545
Fuck, I meant motorball.
>>89354555
Well if he's not gonna make it soon he should fucking let go of the exclusive rights he's had since fucking 1995.
I mean, holy shit he registered the website for this bullshit in 2000.
>>89354555
But Evolution was a great moviei know which one you speak of i just wanted to bring this great movie in the thread
>>89354299
He's famous for drawing shemale porn, you knew him, after all. Also he works for DC now, doesn't he?
>>89354525
>personal project for Cameron
lol you mean he holds the rights so he can either cannibalize ideas and imagery or ransom the rights off to a higher bidder? Same with Leo and Akira, these people just hold onto these things as tax havens or some other scam. You're never going to see James Cameron's Alita, fucking ever.
>>89354519
Murata does 9/10 Samura action with actual detail and care, unlike Samura, who couldn't be fucked to go past sketches for the climactic battle of his 20 year long story.
>>89354599
It started shooting last October you autist
>>89354592
forgot the pic
>>89354599
>You're never going to see James Cameron's Alita, fucking ever.
It comes out next year, you turbo faggot. The cast looks pretty good actually.
>Come into thread expecting some cool art
>Ten posts in it devolves into discussing movie adaptations of weebshit
For fuck's sake, /co/
>>89354635
go tell it to the marines
>Battle Angel confirmed for a mix of the first 4 volumes
No Figure Four no buy Cameron.
You better give us the second half of this goddamn story.
>>89354655
I'd prefer if they were to skip the Roller Derby arc.
>>89354560
I understand what you feel
But I think ...
donot use arita
Make a movie location at Salem + moter ball with new character
At the end just walk pass her on the street.
She is God now end it like that is better.
>>89354685
Gotta have that for the action, I think.
It's not a gonna be a direct adaptation of the story.
>>89354491
Methonium's not famous. I also hate all the stupid shit he drew after /co/ begged.
>>89354655
I'm making myself angry thinking about all the bullshit hugo/alita tumblr stuff I'm going to have to autist at when this comes out.
>>89354711
I hope the Hugo death scene is brutal and shocking with all the gore a cybernetic body can offer
>>89354711
Are you joking? Imagine how much fun you'll be able to have by posting late stage Last Order panels to bandwagon assholes?
But yeah, I can already predict the shipping bullshit.
>>89354717
>pg13
meh.
This movie will no bite. It should be Robocop levels of dumb violence like the manga.
>PG13
Fucking why? The first bad of the series literally eats brains. You don't need China for this movie, Cameron's name already guarantees a profit.
Hype lowered significantly.
>>89354765
You were not seriously expecting a 150million dollar R film were you?
Maybe if this entire production had started after deadpool.
>>89354512
>Cameron can't really fail anything since he's some kind of modern era god
Every part of me resists the thought that someone could say this seriously, yet you somehow seem sincere in this comment.
>>89354765
>Hype lowered significantly.
Christoph Waltz is Ido.
Raise it up a bit again.
>>89354798
Lower it again.
Nova isn't even in the movie.
>>89354796
I said it and I have a Master in cinema theory, estethics and history from Paris. I may have exagerated a bit but I still an enormous respect for the guy, even if he's hard to work with.
Is there even a point to try and salvage this thread still?
>>89354879
I say it's worth a shot.
>>89354896
>>89354879
but OP said FANART and killed the thread when he started it
>>89354908
He also said famous artists. Anyway, it doesn't really matter. If the thread must be derailed, derail it with good intentions.
Is it still fanart if they ended up eventually being guest animators on the show itself?
>>89355104
SU is such a fanfiction of itself, it doesn't count
>>89355120
What did he mean by this?
>>89354478
I think that if the content is west it's okay
>>89354908
OP here. Post what you want
>>89354269
is that a dick?
>>89355262
>>89354459
PELVIS
IT'S HER FUCKING PELVIS
>>89355539
looks like a dick too me
>>89354464
he makes a comc about superheroes, and its better than most current western comics, what did you expect?
>>89354269
otto the absolute madman
>>89355539
It's totally a dick, dude.
>>89355539
Nah.
>>89356044
oh that.
yeah that's a bulge
>>89356044
i recognize that bulge!
>>89354293
That's because Widowmaker is specialized to the point of almost uselessness.
Her mobility is cool, but her poison trap is worthless and if you have to resort to using her rifle is assault mode you are already dead, because you barely do enough damage to kill a symmetra turret with that thing.
Even scoped in, her body shot damage got nerfed to hell a while back.
So you have two options:
Option 1 is to have a good vantage position and to get reliable headshots against enemies who can rapidly dash, teleport, climb walls, fly, or put up shields. Basically do anything but move in a straight line where you can hit them.
Option 2 is to play something else, because if you can't do 1 you are looking at 0 eliminations under your belt at the end of the match.
If you can pull off 1, you are brutal to play against and you can basically carry your team. But not may people can land those shots on purpose, and the character is absolutely dogshit if played in any other way or with any less skill than top tier.
>>89354293
Just like the real deal, then
>>89356529
You know, its weird. I am usually pretty good at sniping in first person shooters. Sniper was far and away my best class in TF2, headshots for days.
I can't hit SHIT as a widowmaker in Overwatch, though. Even bodyshots are a crapshoot when I play as her. I am more accurate as freaking Hanzo or Mccree than her.
>>89356589
Well that's pretty common, besides the fact that Sniper can pretty much 1-kill everyone except an overhealed Heavy with a well landed headshot while Widow can't even do that for half of the cast, the characters in Overwatch have a lot more variety in hitboxes and movement, specially with abilitys like Tracer's, Sombra's, Genji's, etc.
>>89354685
The Roller Derby arc is one of the best character development arcs in manga of the time period.
>>89354269
>>89354263
otto who?
>>89354428
It's cartoonish exaggeration. He clearly understands the underlying forms and it's rendered consistently.
>>89354865
I don't know anything about cinema theory, but why does Cameron receive such ungodly amounts of praise? I mean, I enjoyed terminator as much as most people but other than that, I cannot understand what makes his movies so praise worthy.
Endling has always been my favorite. He started posting on his tumblr page again recently.
>>89356908
He does a lot of work to bring to life things that no one has seen before.
I don't mean that in terms of 'design an interesting creature for me, artists'. I mean that its not uncommon for cameron's productions to invent new technologies and tools specifically for the movie.
When Terminator 2 came out, nothing like the liquid metal terminator had ever been done before, it was literally groundbreaking work that changed the special effects field for every big budget movie that came after. To shoot avatar, they had to invent a new kind of 3d camera to do what he wanted in the quality he wanted it, which against has been used on multiple films since then.
He is a visionary and a perfectionist that advances the whole field whenever he makes a new big picture, because the tools he comes up with to do his thing end up becoming part of the new normal. He pays a lot of attention to the craft and the production, and it shows.
Only a few directors can boast the same level of game-changing impact as Cameron.
