The grinch finds out that from every who he stole from on christmas day, one present was for him. The whos thought all these years he atleast had a friend or two, but cindy lu who had spied on him and they realized he was all alone. They wanted to make up to the bitter trickster by including him with the towns christmas celebrations, and for a day each year he comes down to eat christmas dinner with the whos after hes been playing pranks on them for the rest of the year
