No. He just wants to get some other work done before he continues the comic. Complete shot in the dark, but I'm betting it resumes in February.
>>
I really wouldn't blame him if he just threw in the towel. He repeatedly bit off more than he could chew and got reamed to hell and back by his fans for it.

Been a bit busy drawing smut and receiving smut from his furfriends (who include whorish people who really "appreciate" free shit).

I'm sure he'll come back to his comic when that well runs dry.

When are we going to have truly domesticated coons? Why has this not already happened?
>>
>>89351287
Please leave and take your furry fetish with you.
>>
>>89351580
We have domestic foxes, wolves, deer and other adorable animals. It is but a matter of time before everyone has a pet of their choosing.

I think a raccoon and a crow would be cool. I think crows are smart enough to hang around people already
>>
>>89351662
Crows seem like they'd be the not fucking insane version of parrots.
>>
>>89351287
Hi Morbi. Very good webcomic. Good luck with things.
>>
>>89351662
Domestic any-of-those, no matter what the cycle in breeding is, are still very mainly considered exotic pets. You can't just dogify things, but you can technically keep anything as a pet so long as you can keep up with their natural tendencies and instincts.

Raccoons, as I've read, are little trash pandas that will inevitably try to chew on every wire that ever existed and make holes in the walls. Since Cockatoos and other intelligent but common bird species are basically exotic by default in how you take care of them, I think crows are a little easier to understand.
>>
>>89351662
>>89351826

Crows would probably be really fucking hard to take care of. An animal that intelligent would need tons of stimulation to be anything less than a household terror.
>>
>>89351919
Teach it to play vidya
Problem solved
>>
>>89351919
I can only recall watching a video once of someone who had a crow as an objective "pet" and not something related to their job, but it was in a house modified for a bunch of free-roaming birds anyway. Though it could have also just as easily been a raven instead and I'm crossing my beams here. I can't imagine either species are particularly easy to take care of by yourself.
>>
>>89347133
Maybe. Morbi doesn't understand how to end a hiatus.
Or he started getting lowkey asshurt of trump meme spam again and he can't handle it.
>>
>>89351287
Can you make the comic a little more furry?
That'd be cool.
>>
>>89351499
No that's when he signed up
>>
>>89351672
>>89351662
>>89351919
>>89351969
Crows are pretty much sapient beings with cultures and tools. They are not on our level but they seem to reasonably self aware enough that trying to make them a "pet" sounds like more trouble than it is worth.

Theyre adorable but like most small things they shit EVERYWHERE. it was especially bad when they did it when you were holding them.
Used to feed them goats milk from a dropper and theyd just nurse and their bellies would puff out, it was adorable. Plus their hands were so damn soft.

>>
>>89355855
I've been busy getting help for depression and finishing illustrations.
I haven't even finished thumbnailing Hellmouth 2, it's very low priority.
Hellmouth 1 only got pumped out as quickly as it did because I was actually getting paid per page for the publishing rights.
>>
>>89355929
Ah neat.
Also glad to know you're still alive.

Also completely useless question:
If you could have allowed Poppy to crossover with any other anthro story (be it another webcomic or big Disney or DreamWorks owned thing like Kung Fu Panda)
What would you want it to be?
>>
>>89355980
Something in the Little Tail Bronx universe.
If only because I desperately want more Little Tail Bronx, period.
>>
>>89356009

We'll keep it up, my good man.
And good luck with that depression. ALSO if I learned anything from webcomics is, if you have depression don't do a rap duet with your new girlfriend or you'll blow up the planet.

If I was still living in Florida during these last particular couple of months, I'd probably have completely lost the will to keep going and taken the entire Poppy site offline.
That sounds like a joke and it is not. I was utterly miserable there.
>>
>>89350785
Maybe he'll actually write everything out in advance now.
>>
>>89357572
What is so bad about Florida?
I don't live on the States.
>>
>>89357639
It's a swing state with many conservatives and liberals cohabitating tenuously, partially because it's a vacation destination.

He's just more sensitive than some people. I live in Georgia, which is basically just worse-Florida, and I don't mind it. Jacksonville is a nice place as far as medium sized cities go, and even inland it isn't too bad.

Worst thing is the bugs and muggy weather.
>>
>>89357639
It's a tropical climate and I can't stand the heat and humidity at all.
There's a bunch of other reasons but that's the one that's the most impossible to ignore outside of Winter, when it gets "brisk".
>>
>>89357639

Only advice I can offer is to try to get outdoors as often as possible, even when it's rainy and wet. That makes getting back indoors and toasty all the better.
>>
>>89355928
Featheries > furries you degenerate
>>
>>89357639
As someone who lives in Kissimmee/Orlando it's its own brand of hell it's not always easy to describe but when the longer you stay here the more it drains from you it's why only old people can live here happily and why most people just use it for a summer vacation
>>
>>89357701
Nobody lives inland, Florida residents are beach dwellers. And half of those "swamps" are sinkholes that will soon consume the continent itself.
>>
>>89357721
What are you talking about Orlando is inland it's like an hr half from the beach and shitloads of people live here
>>
>>89357786
It's the exception.
>>
>>89357688
Take your time get better I'll buy a physical release of poppy if you ever make one I'm aware of I'd probably buy a physical collection of hellmouth imp if that happens ever
>>

>>

>>
>>89357572
Guess I couldn't interest you in some Houston, then.

Just as humid, and even hotter, and hella traffic.
But we got good food. That's something.

>>

She might have a friend guard it for privacy.
>>
>>89358819
Maybe I'm just less cynical than you, having lived in Georgia and knowing the dregs of true poverty. Jacksonville is a paradise compared to the area surrounding Valdosta GA.
>>
>>89355929
Thats harsh, hope your situation gets better soon.

And good taste in Crossovers (here >>89356009).
>>
>>89358819

>Russian foxes
>As domesticated as actual dogs

Fuck, ferrets are more domesticated than those assholes and there's two states where it's illegal to own them anyway. You can breed a red fox to like humans but you can't make it not need a double-reinforced enclosure impenetrable to digging and plenty of space both in-house and out.

Though your right in that they grow physiologically closer to dogs, anyway. I'm just still salty that people think foxes can be any less than exotic high-maintenance pets so soon.
>>
>>89354482
You can dogify cheetahs too, doesn't mean that people should be encouraged to keep them.

Wolf fruit baby with a sheep dad and wolf mom, who ended up getting bullied by both sheep and wolves to the point that she rejected being a wolf and used her lucky star to disguise herself as a sheep.
During her little side chapter she learned to embrace both sides of herself, wolf and sheep, and got a nice little happy ending.
Also she's really cute.
