Does anyone else get pissed at how easily ATATs are destroyed in Rebels? By my count, at least 4 ATATs have been destroyed by Kanan and Ezra in the course of Rebels, most egregiously in the episode where they infiltrate Lothal and find out the new Fulcrum's identity.

In Episode V 6 ATATs basically wreck an entire Rebel army at Echo Base, but in Rebels they're helpless against 2 speeders and 2 lightsaber-wielding partisans. You even have Kanan leaping into the air to slice through 2 of an ATAT's legs with his lightsaber.

If it were that easy to destroy them, why were they unstoppable in Episode V?

If you look at the ones in Episode V compared to the one's in Rebels, you see that the V ones are significantly larger. When Luke rappels up to the stomach of one of them after being shot down, you can see the "hip" joint for one of the legs is wider than he is. The one Kanan chops down has legs significantly thinner than he is.

That said, it just looks bad. For casual viewers, the sight of AT-AT's being blown up by two guys and a bazooka makes you wonder why they're even still around in V.

In our own society it takes 10+ years after someone is sentenced to death for them to actually carry out the execution, this is due to bureaucracy and a lengthy appeals process. It's likely that the republic, which has frequently been shown to have massive bureaucracy and red tape would have a similar if not longer process before capital punishment can be carried out.

There is the chance that red tape would/could've been cut since it was a high profile case. But it's also possible that Sidious might've felt Barriss might've been of some use to him alive and thus chose to allow the bureaucracy to delay her execution until he could fully take over.

I liked modo mostly because It just felt more organic for me. 3dsMAX always felt very CADish to me. With my key layout for Modo I can just look around the 3D space so much easier, and easily go from modeling to sculpting to texturing all in one.

Modo is the kind of program I'd suggest for people that needed to do everything there is to do for a model all in one program.

Except for actually rendering or animating, because it is ass for that.
