I always did love the first avenger costume. Like every live action adaptation of Capt America before then, the costume always looked silly as fuck. Yeah it was comic accurate but it made it so hard to take anything seriously.
Then came the 2011 movie and I gotta give the costume designers props, they pulled it off. I didn't even really like Cap beforehand but after seeing that movie, I was sold on him and think most of that is due to how well the costume looked.

It looks great when it's drawn by literally anyone but Booth.

I like it because it manages to set him apart from Barry in a more visually obvious way than his original costume (mostly by taking his Kid Flash suit and making it all red), but he's still recognizably a Flash. It doesn't disrespect his legacy, but at the same time it manages to give him his own unique identity.
