I still don't know what Snyder and Warner were thinking when they decided to make Superman a scowling edgelord. He's one of those characters who's meant to be a paragon of cheesy morality, someone who demonstrates what we could all become if we just stopped being dickheads to each other.

you are wrong.
Snyder may be kinda shitty with his Superman, but Superman as character is someone who is always mutating, having different meanings and options to go.
Everytime there is someone saying how he should be portrayed is a dumbass.
In MY VERSION of Superman, he is on who struggles, he is someone who have to make choices everyday, not an icon, not a paragon, he should be more man, he must fail, he must encounter challenges, and he must rise again.
And well, this is MY VERSION, that doesnt invalidate any other version other authors strives for.

>>89308517

Well you have to take into account that first he has to see which hospital is the closest, if he goes too fast, she might burn up, and the hospital emergency rooms are already probably chock full of people that need help.
Anyway, I imagine Batman already taught Supes first aid, so I think this was the best course of action.

>>89318162
People say that he is not a good character because he can just get out of any situation through his powers, which is mostly true, if it's a combat situation.
But the compelling Superman stories is never about him defeating an enemy. It's always how he deals with his situation. How he sees himself, and the people around him. This is also why there are so many different universe versions of him where the main difference is how he was raised, or a major change to his world view.
Superman is not a compelling character because of his power set, or even his backstory, but because of his personality and how he deals with things he can't punch into the sun.

Look, honestly Bros, Superman he inspired me to be better than I currently am. When I have those moments of fatigue, of being tired, Superman makes me go beyond that and try to be polite. When I'm feeling fatigued and rude to anyone who encounters me, Supes challenges me with a question : "Can you be better than you can currently" I may be drunk but I do now that Supes exist as a challenge to every man: can you be better than you currently are?
>>89305340
Better question, which Supership do you wish you had art of? Mine'sMary Marvel
>>89327789
Look, I don't give a Fuck if I am drunk, I am man enough to admit Supes has a profound enough effect on me. I went from being a whiney ass high schooler to being a hard enough college student because A: Supes teaches you never to give on what you think is right and N: Always do good
Honestly in college, people are struggling what to do in their lives, the best I van do is offer them help. If they like a subject, I tell them to go visit a professor of their choice and get to know them. I feel that Superman would approve of the choice, honestly he's the top fictional characterI want to emulate.
>>89311724

>>89328093
Bros, I must admit something: I like Superman. The fact that a man, blessed with AMAZING talents, decides to do good in the world is amazing. Most people, when given the power of the gods, decide to shape the world in their image; but not Superman. He lets humanity make their mistakes, then decides to Help them make their mistakes before helping them out with their problem. He guides them to the right path and doesn't say anything; he doesn't brag or nothing, he just keeps silent and does whatever he does; that nobility, that sense of goodness, it doesn't diminish what I mean. Superman is not what I want to be; it's what I have to be to make the world a better place, and I'm not afraid to make it.

Probably not just a scowl. Supes would fly back down to tell them that he is completely disappointed in them for picking on a defensless animal and how they could have hurt a lot of people throwing a scared cat on a busy road. Because imagine just how small you would feel, the utter shrinking shame it must feel like that Superman is disappointed in you that you would just want to crawl into the smallest space you can and not come out because the shame is just that great.
It would make them fess up to their parents, beg to be grounded and change their lives for the better. Superman wouldn't feel great about it either. Making kids feel small. But he knows he can inspire them to be better. To take the right path in life.
Maybe superman will fly by in a few years and see them volunteering in an animal shelter. He might stop in as Clark, doing an article for the planet about how the shelter is helping rehome stray cats, see one or two of those kids grown up, volunteering and smile that he could make a difference at a vital point in their lives and save a life before it has the chance to be lost.
Because that is what Superman does.
