What's your innovative way of stopping the Scarlet Speedster dead in his tracks? I present the quantum noose, made of solidified dark matter. In order to avoid instant obliteration of his neck, he's forced to vibrate himself apart. The space between molecules is then occupied by dark matter, forcing him to remain scattered. Either that, or attach a regulsr noose to the cosmic treadmill and send it in reverse. If he stops, his neck breaks.

Well, The flash is only human. How about we set up some cameras so we can figure out where he lives, hide in his bathroom closet, and then stab him while he's taking a dump? No way he would use super-speed while he's shitting. Nobody could possibly poop at super speed!
Second idea: The flash has to eat just like anyone lese, right? What if while he's accepting some kind of award or key to the city or whatever, we trick him into eating poisoned hor d'oeuvres (you know, those little snack trays at important events like that).
