>It's a soapbox derby episode
Are those still a thing? Have they been a thing in the past 50 years?

You could use his cheeks as handlebars as you hold his head down to make him choke on your penis.

Yup.

>That guy who cheated by using electromagnets

I did it as a kid
Are there any other incredibly outdated plots that never show up in modern cartoons anymore? All i can think of are science fairs.
>>89288604
Hi Hi Puffy AmiYumi had a soapbox derby episode
>>89289099
I wouldn't call science fairs "incredibly" outdated since I had them when I was a kid in the early nineties, and my kid siblings had them right before the 2000s.
Though I suppose having kids under the age of twelve hanging out in a playground/forest/anywhere but within arms reach of their homes without supervision is also becoming outdated... :/

These things always turn into Ben Hur
Mauve's a gay ass color.
>>89290105
That's what makes them great.
Whenever I see one I'll always remember The Little Rascals, I watched that movie like crack as a kid.
>>89288604
Eugene's head always looked like a chode with a ballsack pushed up by the waistband.
>>89289923
The school i went to finally phased them out
>>89290405
Same. I'd watch it just for that fucking race
>>89288621
I did Pinewood Derby as a Cub Scout. That's kind of similar. But soapbox? Not a thing where I live.
>>89289923
I knew of a school from my hometown that had one last year.
>>89289099
Not a plot, but greasers are pretty common and outdated.
>>89288604
>"The Mauve Avenger"
>Not "The Dark Storm"
JUST
>>89289099
I had one when I was in eighth grade back in 2011.
I don't know if just because I live in the middle of nowhere, but I never see lemonade stands anymore
>>89293688
I thought the exact same thing.

Thanks to Pinewood Derby I discovered Warhammer 40k too early, when I was 10. My dad and I had to get the supplies from a Hobbytown and they had free product catalogs for Games Workshops. I loved looking through that thing and seeing Chaos Marines waving flags made out of human faces

Giddyup, derby racers.
Giddyup, derby racers.
Giddyup, derby racers.
Go, go, go!
>tfw you were too lazy and scared as a kid to go out and enjoy community events like pinewood derbys, toy boat races, eating contests, carnivals, whatever the Hell Pig Day was
>>89293959
Pig Day is when you try to find the ugliest girl you can to bring on a date with you, then the guys judge the girls to see who won by bringing the ugliest girl of the bunch.
>>89293999
That's odd, it looked so different on the show.
>>89289923
What I always noticed was that science fairs seem to be treated as mandatory in shows, but I always remember them being optional
>>89294484
I remember it being optional too. I think it varied by school, but the reason it's usually treated as a mandatory thing in cartoons is probably as an excuse to have others in the cast involved.
>watching the nanny episode
>helga gets her fired
>the nanny is forced to move back home
>helga doesn't redeem herself
>>89289099
Not a plot per se, and I don't know if it's technically outdated or just a thing that never happened, but elementary schools having lockers. I honestly have no idea if that's just people applying high school tropes to elementary or if that was a thing that was common at one point.
>>89294898
My elementary school had lockers in 2006.
>>89294484
It was required to graduate when I went to school.
>>89293721
>eighth grade
>2011
where did the time
>>89288604
>the teacher of the class dress like a cheerleader in that episode
My favorite gag
>>89288604
One of the most forgettable South Park episodes ever.
>>89288604
this is the Best one .
>>89295500
Not forgettable, but probably the worst because no more space episodes.
