Carol can still look sex as fuck, but it's all up to the artist. Even her hair can look good, but every artist does whatever the fuck they want with it, meaning it works sometimes and sometimes it really doesn't. I don't know why model sheets apparently fell out of favor with Marvel. Even worse is when Carol's hair will change from PANEL TO PANEL, as if Marvel is trying to force a retarded meme about how inconsistent her hair is.

Here's what I see working in the design:

>the sash when used for dramatic effect

I don't know why they traded her lightning bolt for stars though. To be more patriotic and say SPACE? The thing they do in the MvCI trailer, where she flares up with energy, is something they either don't do in the comics, or don't do enough. And she looks cute as fuck AND powerful as hell in the MvCI trailer.

I need to go back and finish reading the old runs of Carol's books. I want to fully understand just how much she's flown off the rails during her convoluted existence.

It's odd that these days Marvel is fucking up by going the ultra feminism route with a lot of books, because characters like Carol and The Cat (later becoming Tigress) were born from a 70s push for the women's lib market. Which not only didn't go that great, I'm pretty sure it lead to quite a backlash that in part explains why the editors and fans never were that into Carol.
