It sort of does, if you interpret the "order" versus "chaos" duality of the map to mean "consistent rules and predetermined outcomes" versus "randomness".

The point of Crisis on Infinite Earths was to get rid of the Multiverse, because the people in charge of DC in 1985 wanted to simplify the DCU.

The point of Infinite Crisis was to bring the Multiverse back, because it was 20 years later and the people in charge then thought the Multiverse was a cool idea.

The point of Final Crisis was what happens if Darkseid wins and finally gets the Anti-Life Equation. It had very little to do with the Multiverse.
