Gene deserves to star in more episodes.

Gene episodes are trash

He's great in other characters' episodes. I think the problem is that the writers never ACTUALLY let him be serious for more than a few seconds, unlike Tina and Louise.
Like the episode where he felt like everyone thinks of him as a screw-up? That's something a lot of people can identify with, but they only introduced the concept to him near the end of the episode.

Nah it's the opposite. Gene is never serious in other people's episodes.
Gene episodes are almost the only time Gene is allowed to be anything other than "Gene says something inappropriate"
>show is called Bob's Burgers
>focus on his shitty kids most of the time
What a shit show

Its bad, but I find him unwatchable at both ends of the spectrum. The only episode of his I find watchable are Gene it On and Get Rich or Die Trying Girl
Gene and Courtney show was okay, but the B plot overshadowed it to me

I know. But even then, it's always very brief and shallow (with the exception of the episode where he had a girlfriend).
I think the writers just don't have a grasp on him to the same extent of his siblings.
The Itty Bitty Ditty Committee is a good episode.

I generally agree but episodes like the Die Hard musical and lil hard dad show that there is potential.

>its just 11 mins of his house life and why he has such a down outlook on himself and it always ends with him meeting up with either Jimmy Jr. or Bob's kids.

I think Gene is at his best when he's playing off of Bob. I loved L'il Hard Dad, the b-plot Broadcast Wagstaff School News, and Beefsquash. Not that I dislike Linda/Tina/Louise but they get so much focus it gets tiring - especially Tina. I could live without another Tina pines over Jimmy Jr episode
when the hell are we gonna get another Mort episode.
Or see Mort at all. He just completely disappeared
