It'll be like the RS finale and focus on one character over the others, but because they have a shit way of focusing on more than one main/reoccurring character, one or all the rest will have to be socially inept and retarded to make the series finale main look better.

I still watch AT because I've liked it since it aired, I sorta grew up with it, but I know how strained it is compared to RS. RS never lost it's way (note the reason most people dropped it was because of the same formula over and over, which isn't entirely true for the latter half) but AT started being more of a personal outlet for people writing it. Like a very faint Simpsons. To top it all off they started adding more lore and more secrets and more character development hints but they overdid it and now have to start back at square one and build up from there and focus on each thing they set up, skipping some and going in wrong directions for others which had previously been set up.

JG said the off model look got too hard to look good because the animators would send it back a lot looser than what we got. It's also obvious the network cut back on it after its 3rd season because it'd save money and be quicker to animate if the most animation in an episode is a character rolling across the ground or doing a quick dance, compared to arm movements and head pivots during talking.

Their whole bodies used to jerk and move around when they talked, the whole noodle arms thing was true back then because the arm length would increase whenever they threw up their arms or started running and waving them, and when characters would fall they'd smear animate it and when they hit the ground there'd be like 5 frames of impact movement, rather than just hitting it and then going to the next frame with them being still.

Now that I know what Mordo's bat bird kids look like, I'm having fun imagining Mordo and CJ's cloudy blue jay offspring.

Just watched the finale on yt and having grown with this show since it aired when I was fucking 18 it really hit home how shit is really changing for me and everyone in my life but it's cool because just because you get a little older and grow doesn't mean that you become stiff/boring. The Margaret figure they made is squishy kinda plastic where you can press in on it a bit, her bust arch and her lower half of her torso are somewhat separated between the inside plastic, so you can jiggle her nips without affecting everything else. I'd say if you held it long enough or did some other thing to keep it in place, you could have a Margaret with a bust halfway doubled. It stretches but of course doing it too much it'd rip/break. It was really awesome to see though. I wish we could've seen more of his art. Like someone else said, a whole episode-length epilogue would've been absolutely splendid. It even would've gave the epic final battle an official TV movie run time, shame CN said no.

The only issue I have is with the side art just being the S8 cast and not the series cast. I guess you could change it or include a few others in the same image though. Most notably Thomas, CJ, and Margaret. Dunno, maybe there's back cover art too they didn't show, but it'd still feel shitty having Eileen with the park members and not the others on the whole series set.

That said you could argue if this was to take off, it's just the bases of what it would look like. Besides, including 2 DVDs that have the same episodes as the others, but just having another name? Joke obviously but people would be expecting a Mordecai Pulls a Mordecai double disc set, the only way that'd work was if it was something different inside.

That said I beg we get whole-episode animatics if it does get a Bluray set. Those are like the absolute best things. Oh, and maybe have a music button on the menu with a few background music tracks.


This would make up for CN just stopping with DVD releases after S3 and Bluray after Season 2.

Absolutely not a single RS episode played after the finale (or before it for that matter). No encore presentation the next day, later in the week, nothing. Gravity Falls got multiple ones before it stopped airing on Disney's sister channel for a little while, but it came back and has been a main series on the show for awhile rather than get erased like WoY did, no ones seen it in awhile.

As for RS, it's just fucking done. It hasn't had reruns normally in years. The only instances in 3 years were the couple month slot at 6 am during last summer and a few times where a S8 episode aired with the new episode that was the one previous before it. They stopped doing that after like half a week.

If you can pinpoint the only few times a show has been rerun in 3 years, it sounds more like a show like Robotomy rather than an 6 year running series that just finished a few days ago.

I totally missed out as the first few episodes bored the fuck out of me.
Now's the question does it get better?
If so is the finale worth watching 261 episodes?
Mind you I cannot miss any episodes when binging a cartoon.

You see, the big draw of Regular Show was that while it's basically a funny animal buddy show, the characters and relationships were treated seriously. However, there is a lot of pointless episodes (the majority even), ideas never followed up upon, inconsistencies, and a lot of decisions that don't feel like natural development but executive mandate or just wrong on the writer's part.

Which is why the ending montage does not work for me. Trying to give a definitive sendoff to your characters will always be weird if you let mistakes spanning your entire show unfixed or unexplained, or characters with loose ends.

No, I just personally didn't like Mordecai's bad end portrayed as good, and how the kids were designed for the most part. Rigby's end was alright, MM's end was what I expected, same for
Skips. I was also disappointed after Margaret went to their landing they focused more on the Park cast ather than show what happened to her. I didn't like her or CJ all that much but she was a main character.

I also wish it wasn't fucking rushed. They could've cut out the Lolliland rap shit and saved themselves like 10-20 seconds to show a bit more at the end, like what Rigby does for a living if they absolutely didn't want CJ or Margaret in the end, or at least show Mordecai on the phone with CJ at one point laughing and them being buds again, or him visiting Margaret at the news station during one of her breaks.

Glad someone else is using this theory too. It looked like it was just the normal issue with details. It does suck everyone else was smiling though but I think the reason Mordecai wasn't was because his beak has too little space and they just drew his mouth quickly. In places where there's not much space for detail, especially in crowd shots where it's smaller, they do that. I guess they could've had his mouth open a little arched towards his eyes to where he was smiling if they really wanted to, but it looked like they didn't care.

I was a senior in high school when I saw this show. I thought the first episodes of season 1 were shit. I never gave it a chance again.
