Which was storytimes by an anon who had been doing the entire Johns run GL since like Halloween.
Sullivan Sluggers was done like 2-8hours ago.

Every Wednesday we get half the new releases of the week storytimed.

Hell just going to catalog mode and searching "story" brings up 6 storytime threads.

If each of those threads held 3-6 issues worth of images, that's like $54-108 worth of comics for you to read online for free and see if you wanna buy for real.

I storytime from time to time but (like an anon said) Hiro increasing the cooldown to 60 seconds really screwed me up nig time, since now digital scans are in full HD which something have the size of 4MB and really slowdown the storytime process with my slow-ass upload speed, so it can't be as quickly as it was before with the 60 seconds timer...Also the legacy cache captcha is a big con when it eats like 5 captchas in one go for whatever reason

That's the best thing I've seen all day.

There are plenty, it's just that since there's nothing to shitpost about they drop off the board quickly instead of lingering around for days like the other "successful" threads. Even when the comic is awful or divisive anons just take screengrabs and use them to make their own threads to bitch in, which takes the (albeit shitty) discussion out of the storytime and pushes it off the board that much faster.
