So far the only cool thing the gear system offers is weapon skins.

Letting you change the models of Aquaman's trident, Batman's batatrangs or Deadshots guns is pretty fuckin neat. But then i remember that these change stats and that its retarded.

Plus i dont understand why they couldnt just do a roster wide skin pack giving all the characters their classic costumes. No one wants their god awful designs anyways and some of the classics they actually bothered to put in looked great like Deathstroke's and Ares'

With PG already confirmed as an alt the potential for different character costumes is fucking crazy in this. There's so many DC characters who have extremely similar powers and gadgets compared to more well known characters who would be perfect for it.

i sincerely doubt the comics are canon. NRS has terrible communication with the writers of their comics. It resulted in tons of continuity errors that didnt match with MKX's story. I dont really care what boon says. I doubt they looked at the comic's body count when writing 2's story or making the roster.

Well since he's a pre-order bonus he probably doesn't have any presence in the story like how Goro didn't show up in the MKX story. It makes perfect sense really, he's one of the biggest villains in DC but if Darkseid isn't going to be the main threat for the story then it really makes no sense for him to show up for it so being a pre-order bonus or DLC is the best fit for him.

Well he's the fan favorite and while not particularly unique a brawler like that can be cool especially with improvised weaponry. He just makes the most sense to add. NiteOwl is redundant with Batman there, Comedian is just a gun guy, Ozzy would be even more boring than Rorschach and nobody gives a shit about Silk Spectre. They could feasibly do Doc Manhattan but he is way too OP and is mostly remembered by normies for the blue dong.

That's still pretty lame, especially considering his flamethrower is an aerosol can and a lighter. Even an assist with the other Watchmen would be boring since they're also for the most part street level brawlers and a bit out of place since Rorschach only really works with Nite Owl. In the end, Rorschach just sticks out like a sore thumb compared to the others on the roster and Watchmen simply isn't a property fit for a game like Injustice.

He doesn't stand anymore than say Joker when it comes to being out of place in a game like this. The Joker gets away with it by his flair, he's essentially a more violent Looney Tunes character. Of course it's easy to translate Rorschach as a fighter character, I'm just saying there's no way to get around his fighting style being blander than dirt and that he probably wouldn't be fun to play as. It would be like making the Question playable, they're great characters but they don't do too much actual fighting and when they do it's mostly just simple punches.
