The secret of Coyote's tooth is that it's actually super cold. so close to the sub Zero it transform every material it touch into its wave-function (look it up, it's real, you cool down matter close enough to sub zero, like, really close, and it cease to be material an change into it's wave function form), making it really easy to cut through it.

The absorbed energy (because to "generate" cold, something has to absorb energy) is directly send to Coyote through the Ether, actually allowing him to eat the energy his teeth bite.
