Why so few Psychic men Especially in DC?

Women are often given powers that don't require them to physically grapple with opponents.

I'm writing a sci-fi story riffing on this where the gene for psychic abilities is on the x chromosome, therefore women are more likely to have them than men.

Psychic men would be more interesting at this point

Because when you have psychic characters you end up with stuff like Vivil War II.
So many of Marvel's conflicts aredriven by characters with Telepathy or Telekinesis or vague Clarevoiance because it's so many people have those powers.
DC has Omen and she's confusing enough for her powers to have like 3 possible explanation. The whole thing's just a hornets nest.

Because most writers make it either vague & near-irrevelent or OP and makes other people useless.

Also, harder for artists to make it look better than punching/shooting/fighting.
