Why do abominations like this get made?

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nQdg8357_y4

This should count as /co/ because animated, and people here would hate it more than on /tv/.
>>
>>89062948
Porn when?
>>
>>89062948
At least is not Rik Mayall

I will come back when Lonbluewolf come up with the lewd
>>
>Drop dead Fred: The series
>>
>>89062948
>Why do abominations like this get made?
Because they'll make a profit and that's all anyone cares about ;--;
>>
>>89063058
>>89063068

There was also that chick movie where the Imaginary friend comes back to help the woman to get laid, but the imaginary friend that used to be a kid grew up to be a hot dude and woman wants to bang with him instead of a real man... Wait, was that the first movie about waifus/husbandos?
>>
Well...

This looks terrible.
>>
>>89063157
Wait, what?
>>
>>89063118
So then the real question should be why do abominations lake that make profit? I mean, we, as consumers have the responsability to support and reject stuff so things like this stop happening
>>
>>89063508
Idk anon. I have light liking for animation and can give respect to it when I sit down and actually watch it. Most of the time I just watch for the story and if it's fits the cliches, narratives, tropes ect I get giddy. I feel like that what most audiences prefer. I could be wrong though.
>>
>>89063449
I don't remenber well the name. It was just a generic fanfiction tier chick flick that woman watch just to jerk off to the male lead and pretent that they are into normal adult movies
>>
Looks terible, but i don't think thing is really /co/ related i mean we didn't even talk about the new Muppet show when it come out
>>
>>89063508
The commun TV demographic seems to like cute characters acting like black sassy people. They think:

LOL! Cartoons don't talk like that, at least not the ones that i see my kids watching on the discovery kids!
>>
>>89063740
That is because no one in the world but some soccer mom's talked about the new Muppet show (we had 5 or 6 threads about it in fact).

Rik Mayall is dead.

I'd like to think it was delayed shame at starring in Drop Dead Fred, but it was probably just a heart attack caused by lingering health issues from when he crashed a quad bike. I dunno, coroner's report into his death just said "Fucked if I know, I'm not a real coroner."

Because 95% of Americans have mental illness and continue to watch shows like these. Thus they keep getting made.

Your threshold is too low, boychik.

Besides, this looks cute.
>>
>>89062948
Derp!
>>
The imaginary friend doesn't even look like she's that important to the plot. It just feels like that extra gimmick that pops up every now and again so that it's not just a show about a middle aged women stressing out because her boyfriend has three kids.
>>
>>89062948
that creature is pretty cute, but that momdance joke almost killed me from cringe

At least it looks less terrifying than the original design. I'm honestly more concerned with the human characters of the show. If there's supposed to contrast between the real world and her imaginary friend, why don't the human characters talk like actual adult human beings? I'd forgive unrealistic dialogue if whatever was put in it's place was funny, but...

The Lowest Common Denominator of TV viewer. Which is thankfully a shrinking demographic.

Course that's been true ever since Sitcoms were a thing.

Also this:

Is fictional characters/cartoons in real life the new trend? Have we spiraled back to the 90's? Is the Roger Rabbit reboot not far off?

>Makers of 80s nostalgia show
It's also kind of the Jewish show if we're listing ABC's ethnic themed sitcoms. Can't wait for whatever demographic sitcom they decide to tackle next!
>>
>>89063639
Tropes and even cliches can be fun. It's only when the show/movie treats the story as if it's never been told before that it becomes insufferable.
>>
>>89066995
God that was insufferable. Regardless of subject matter, overly sassy 11 year old girls have to be the most annoying types of people to exist. And this is coming from a girl who was 11 once. I was surrounded by z-snapping 5th grade girls who thought having an attitude and getting out the last snarky comeback was what defined your personality. I'm sure I was a trite bitch too.
>>
>>89066870
Unhappily Ever After was already the poor man's Married with Children.

It had a few moments though.
>>
>>89066968
I wouldn't call it a "new trend." They've been trying this stuff for ages. Wasn't there a show about life with puppets called "Craig the Bunny?" This stuff is sprinkled throughout TV.
>>
>>89067303
but you found /co/ soo... huge improvement on your personality
>>
Character looks cute.

I always wanted a show about tulpas.

Well, at least for the first two seasons. Third season is solidly 1996.

Judging by this trailer? Mentally ill people or people with emotional issues.

Wasn't this show revealed several years ago? Did they change the model and make it less nightmarish?

Really bad integration of cheap CG into live action.
