Man Armada Optimus is such a weird design. It lacks almost everything iconic about the G1 Optimus (it's a long nose truck, doesn't have the tit windows, has a "super more", doesn't have the yellow triangles on the dick plate) but it's also so good looking and has a coolness factor around it that you don't mind it.

It's one of the legit all time best Optimus designs in my book just for being so different yet so cool looking. Shame it's in a complete garbage of a series.

Pretty much all this. It helps that Energon Optimus is more G1-influenced, but objective garbage tier, and Cybertron Optimus Prime is... aight, but I don't care for him much since he's just a clusterfuck of G1 Optimus and Brave-style super robot design elements.

The original RID Fire Convoy had a decent design but it's not anything special to me, it's only good for the super modes. Most of the modern OP designs are either more mechanised g1 designs or movie-lite. I want something a bit like Armada again desu.
