I thought the reveal itself was stupid and clumsily handled, just another "superhero turns bad for five minutes." Marvel's insistence on it not being mind control and it's real didn't help, and while they're technically right since it seems like Cap's personal timeline itself was altered, it's still basically a different means for the same effect.

However I've been pleasantly surprised by the handling of the plot. Cap still acting relatively like himself rather than being an actual Nazi because Kubik really believed the story of HYDRA being the good guys, and thus Cap reflects that, is actually interesting.

His nephew became Bucky on the Young Avengers because Marvel completely forgot that calling a black person Bucky is racist despite making an entire issue dedicated to apologizing for it the last time that happened and his codename is now Patriot.
I can't recall too much about the next three other than misc drug busts, anti commie fights and SuperSoldier serum generally being bad for your long term health/sanity.
John Walker was the conservative Cap and actually a good, principled person unlike what you'd normally see from other conservatives.
Buckycap was kinda meh since Bendis was making some big deal about who should be successor to his shield while Cap was dead before having Bucky get it simply because he could actually throw the thing properly.(memory fuzzy here. ) While he wasn't an awful choice anons and others in general were wondering why Bucky would be more deserving of the title over people that have spend far more time with him for the last few decades like Sam Wilson as being an obvious pick.
