Not really, it was alright. I didn't like how they animated the tricks they did, they would come off the ramp and flail around on their board and land it and say "I just pulled off a McKick Twist Varial." As someone who was a part of the skateboard industry for a while this really bothered me.

This show always came off as trying way too fucking hard to come off as hip/EXTREME to sell itself, but the cast was boring and forgetful.

In hindsight the way I'd describe it is that it was written by sitcom hacks who had no idea of how children actually behave, let alone tell interesting stories that don't hinge on some kid wanting to do X but has to be responsible in some fashion instead.

Not really. I mean if it came on and there was nothing else on then I watched it I guess. But was never fond of it. Where I live skate boarding is associated with stoners and the kind of losers that still hang around their high school for years after graduating. So that might have played a part in it. Yeah, I liked it. Still do. Reminds me of all the fun things my friends and I did, we always rode our bikes everywhere and went to the beach whenever we could. We were from the East Coast so we remember the influxes of annoying tourists.

Sure, we weren't professional in the slightest nor did we compete in professional sports, but we always dreamed we could and the show was just a fun slice of life show for people that did skateboard and other things.
