The thing I understand about Deadpool is that drowning and suffocation might work the same way it works when you stick a sword through his head. He just sleeps until someone pulls it out. Sometimes someone can poke something small through his head and he is still conscious, but sometimes he just sleeps.

Considering the shit he has regenerated from and amount of plot armor and outside universe knowledge.. his abilities are damn near cosmic and at same time completely irrelevant.

Just capture him and put him on a rocket with an escale trajectory from Sol. He can spend billions of years freezing and suffocating and cursing his immortality.

Barring any jew sex machine bringing him back this is fate worse than death.

He's essentially unkillable on a cosmic, fundamental level. Until his relationship with Thanos and Death changes, there's not anything that can be guaranteed to put an end to him permanently.

His healing factor has gotten exponentially more powerful with time, used to be he was just a stronger version of wolverine's (who can be given true death just through suffocating his brain), then he can survive decapitation as long as somebody's around to stitch it back together.

Now, though? His severed limbs grow back bodies of their own and come after him for revenge, he can survive complete atomization and decapitation like nothing.

Thanks to Thanos's "curse", his memory and concsiousness isn't even tied to his physical gray matter anymore. He's survived complete incineration and atomization and even decapitation where he LOST the original head.

When he was feeling particularly suicidal, he stole nuclear weapons and deposited them across populated areas of the Hulk's territory to force Banner to kill him. Bruce smashed him so hard he was atomized, and he STILL came back.

If you shot deadpool into the sun, once it went supernova and eventually burned out there's even odds the dumb fucker's vaporized molecules will pull themselves back together.

His healing is so stupidly fucking powerful that when he needed to die and go to Hell to rescue Spiderman, he was working on a time limit because Shiklah couldn't keep him from coming back fast enough.

Deadpool got frozen completely solid by evil-iceman and shattered into millions of individual ice crystals, his teammates scooped up the melted fragments and he was right as rain a short time later.

His healing factor defies conservation of mass to the point he withstood Apocalypse's Famine horseman. Shit happens to Wade that would be career ending, awful emotional disfigurement to anyone else and it's laughed off as a joke.

The saddest part is that he still feels pain.
