It's his Forge wound. I wonder if his sudden UUUURG is Hi-Jack going into the body (recently) and feeling the fresh pain. But he was in the room with all the screens, the very one the SC leader and the Pug Lady were in at the start of the chapter. That page is 101 and it isn't until page 106 where he proves himself to be spender ("the events of last night") and the page after where it's cemented (using the spectral trick, acting spender-y, hiding his wound, mentioning Zarei). Page 105 is a time skip after the kids bust into the room though, so that's 4 pages of potential possession and de-possession, assuming the victim isn't aware and can't tell these kinds of things, even a spectral. Jeff freaked out but then he's been through a bit more.

Honestly this page's incredible joke density brings me back to the main reason I loved Paranatural to begin with. I liked that Zack was delivering more jokes per panel just in background detail than most comics do in a complete strip. That's the only thing I've been missing in new Paranatural, so this page, I love, and don't care about the lack of advancement in it even a little bit.
