Depending on just how much of their aura a hunter can project onto thier equipment and how far can it stretch, regular tanks may not be a good idea in remnant.
But what about something like pic related or a baneblade?
They can mount enough armour on mech that it can survieve continious assault from 4+ better than averege trainee hunter teams. So a closer to the ground tank like platform should be able to hold way more.
Dust is good enough power source that mechs are actually usable in the setting.
They have quite the advanced AI.
They have powerfull enough weaponry to at least rip apart a sea dragon.
Depending on just how much armour, weaponry, fuel and ammuntion it would carry, you probably would be able to stick several squads of infantry inside, not counting actual operating personal.
You should reliably get a moving bunker which can bulldoze through majority of environments short of hills\mountains.

I doubt you can project your aura too far without it just completely draining you. The most we've seen are either flare-ups from Jaune and Yang or Ren's ki strikes. It's probably why conventional firearms haven't been supplanted by now; Much more efficient to imbue a bullet with energy than to just launch an energy blast. The only real subversion to this that comes to mind are Glynda & Cinder's spells (which still need a dust catalyst and aren't pure aura) and Penny's laser beam (which was more actual energy than aura).

Yatsu's I'd probably just chalk up to raw strength. Yang can't be the only powerhouse in the world, especially since Yatsu swings around that massive braodsword.

Sun would be the most likely candidate to be able to do it. If he can project his aura as physical clones, I don't see why a ki strike would be any different.

Adam is iffy. He probably does use his aura for it, but I'm guessing that the design of his sword has some thing to do with it. Probably infused with dust to amplify the strikes, while the gun-sheath acts as an insulator to allow him to charge it up.

Or they can make him progressively tankier to the point he can consistantly shrug of her attacks and get a few hits, since he is supposed to hit fairly hard if he can actually land those hits.

Keep in mind Cinder's injuries mean that she probably can't move as fast as she could, or sword fight as well or shoot as well since half her body is scar tissue and she's missing one eye.

That mostly leaves her with spamming powerful but head on maiden magic. Assuming Jaune really gets a super shield reflection thing as his semblence, and he could potentially have a drawn out battle without her stomping him, since he could block her fireball barrage and she can't just zip behind him and stab him thanks to one of her legs and arms being a charred wreck.

She might never have that combination of power and skill she had against Ozpin and Pyrrha again.

If anything, she probably just started rattling off things she wanted the weapon to do because she's a dumb kid with an over-active imagination, and left Qrow to actually make a functional weapon out of it. She even admits that the thing is horribly over-designed. The best she can probably do is perform upkeep on it, while Qrow is likely the only one who could repair it.
