Why did no one tell him
>>
>>89021167
it was for joseph really or at least what they tell themselves
>>
>>89021167
Why Dale never told anyone he was a robot?
>>
>>89021167
Didn't Hank try to tell him at one point?
>>
>>89021167
I kinda get the feeling at some point he knew, he just double downed on the Daleness to deny it
>>
Better question: why did Boomhaur being a Texas ranger never come up before? Especially considering the situations they got into sometimes.
>>
>>89021167
fukr
>>
All of Hank's friend had some major secret they kept from each other like Boomhauer's car or Hank's Tattoo.
>>
>>89021289
and peggy having sex with a fag before hank
>>
>>89021205
I think I remember an early episode where Peggy tried to tell Dale as soon as she figured it out, but then backed out because she thought it might affect Dale's relationship with Joseph. I find it really funny that Peggy was the second to last to know. I always personally like to imagine that Dale sort of knows but is in a form of denial, but with Peggy she apparently is just that stupid.

But in a later episode they confirm that Dale knowing wouldn't fuck up his relationship with Joseph at all after some kind of paternity test shows that Joseph isn't Dale's kid, but they decide to have Dale believe that Nancy was knocked up by aliens because status quo.
>>
>>89021353
>because status quo
King of the Hill isn't a status quo show. Lots of shit changes from season to season. Characters age and die. It's not The Simpsons where Maggie is a baby for 25 fucking years.
>>
>>89021353
Dale has the shittiest friends. There is no reason for him not to know at that point.
>>
>>89021443
That's how the show started, but by the later seasons there were lots of things that they decided to revert back on and avoid changing. Like how Joseph hit puberty back when they had planned on aging up the kids, but later never aged up Bobby like they'd at one time been planning to. Or like the episode where it turns out Kahn had bipolar disorder all along apparently, but only for that one episode and by the end he's "back on his meds" and it doesn't need to come up again. They do certainly incorporate a lot of changes all through the shows run, but there is definitely also a status quo they were maintaining, at least towards the end.
>>
>>89021607
Well Luanne got a lot dumber over the show. And dropped out of college, and married an ugly redneck, and got knocked up with his kid when she was barely old enough to drink. So there's that.
>>
>>89021443
There's more status quo in KotH than you realize, then. Bill will always be unhappy, and even the feel-good episodes where he finds someone are soon swept under the rug.
>>
>>89021781
To be fair, bill was a douchebag each and every episode he found happiness, including the one with Governor Richards where he just decided he wanted Lenore more.
>>
>>89021693
I think that was a flanderization of her character because they wanted to take the more sensible college student Luanne they had and revert her back to the redneck bimbo from the first episodes. Like someone decided she was getting too much character development and had to turn her character right around, then overshot it and made her dumber than she was at the start.
>>
>>89021193
Redcorn will die with Joespeh thinking he's a freak.

Dale wins.
>>
>>89021238
Childhood friends
He knows they never mean no harm
Military personnel are always getting into shenanigans in real life
>>
>>89021607
Half of the conflict in the episode where Joseph hit puberty was Bobby hit puberty but wasn't experiencing changes at all and got jealous that Joseph was grown

Also iirc Mike judge said dale didn't know about redcorn and if he did he would've killed himself
>>
>>89021948
Hey I know that feeling. Bobby will go twenty years before some doctor tells him his T production is shot.

But hey least puberty didn't inflict brain damage on him like poor Joespeh.
>>
>>89021926
Sure, but there were also time it could have helped them. Like when that ex-football player was harassing Hank.
>>
>>89022037
They did though

I like this fan theory. Basically Dale knows about Nancy and John Redcorn are together but he doesn't care. Nancy lets him do whatever he wants and he can live unemployed.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=y0ME7WFl1nk
>>
>>89022586
>he can live unemployed
He was unemployed? I thought he was an exterminator.
>>
>>89022630
Guess they mean that Dale doesn't have to be the primary provider? He's free to indulge his many hobbies?
Do the say if Nancy made more than Dale?
>>
>>89022586
He was an exterminator and bounty hunter

I always thought they didn't tell him because he would go crazy and try to kill Nancy or John Redcorn
>>
>>89022676
Doesn't matter, the theory works either way.
- won't be able to get a wife like Nancy
- might lose his son or the house
- saw his friend's life destroyed by divorce
So yeah, it adds up.
>>
>>89022630
He's an exterminator that essentially only works for his friends and for basically no money, nobody would hire him after they found out he destroyed his own respiratory system with his pesticides
>>
>>89021607
The Bipolar disorder episode was the last episode.
>>
>>89022685
>bounty hunter
Yeah, uh, okay.
>>
>>89022586
He thinks/believes Redcorn is gay and that he slept with Lenore
>>
>>89022630
At which he makes about enough to pay the cable bill.
>>
>>89022685
Both which amounted to hobbies which let him live out weird power fantasies. If it made any kind of profit it was only enough to pay for a single bill

He would never believe it anyway. The guy is a delusional conspiracy theorist.

Source.

No

>>89022757
Yeah, before it got renewed and finished off with another season.

So, no, not the REAL last episode, sadly.

I don't have one, that's why I said iirc instead of posting one

>won't be able to get a wife like Nancy

I used to think like you when I was younger.

However, after re-watching the show, and making some decent comparisons to other media, I learned something.

Dale is arguably the most entertaining, charming, and compassionate man on the cast.

He treats Joseph far batter than Hank treats Bobby, and even when he genuinely BELIEVES he is not the father (IE aliens), he still risks his life, (or so he believes) just to be a part of Joseph's life, even though they are not related.

Hell, the only reason Peggy did not tell Dale the truth is because she saw first hand that Dale and Joseph had the perfect bond, which caused her to wuss out at the last minute.

Also, though he is the weakest character physically, he is a great dancer, can speak multiple languages, and though the writing makes you believe he is dim, he still has shown to be more more intelligent than most of the cast (albeit not as self aware).

Nancy is... well, a superficial Nancy, yet even SHE admitted to Dale that he had the most beautiful eyes, when she saw him without his glasses on the dance floor.

Hell, Dale even went out of his way to help John Redcorn out on many occasions, even going as far as to help him reclaim his lost land, all while asking for little to nothing in return.

There was an episode that involved a female exterminator working in Arlen, and she was on par with Nancy physically, if note even more so. Plus, this woman was far deeper, and shared many of Dale's odd interests.

She made the moves on Dale, only for Dale to politely decline, stating that he appreciated her efforts, but that he has been, and always will be loyal to his wife, Nancy.

Unlike Nancy, he even admitted that someone put the moves on him, but unlike Nancy, he had enough respect for himself and others to stay true to his wife, who honestly, does not deserve him.

>>89021260
DALE I bought your wife

Take her

.................................fucker
>>
>>89021238
Are texas rangers even real cops? or are they just super trooper teir over exagerated security guards
>>
>>89021167
You try talking him?

"Dale there's something you should know about Nancy and John Redcorn"

>What is it?

"They spend a lot of time together.

>Sure, Redcorn, Nancy, and I go way back.

"No I mean they spend a lot of time alone."

>HE'S A PROFESSIONAL. HIS NEW AGE MASSAGES REQUIRE A COMFORTABLE ENVIRONMENT or so I assume

"He's sleeping with Nancy"

>Aha! You sure are kidder! Now are you going to purchase some alien urine or not? I don't have all day Sanford and Son is coming on.
>>
>>89023251
>better dad than Hank
Nicer dad but his stupidity sort of put Joseph at risk a few times
>>
>>89023622
I will give you that one.

However, Hank's strict and controlling behavior did seem to negatively impact Bobby's development, at times.
>>
>>89021238
Maybe he specialised in undercover assignments and so was used to not talking about his work.
>>
>>89022934
Absolutely not, Trump's a braggart New Yorker, basically a conservative version of everything Hank hates. He would probably have put in a write-in candidate.
>>
>>89021607
Khans BPD is mentioned in an earlier episode. I think its the myspace one. Peggy tells Hank that she impersonates Ted Dansen on the internet, and that people will tell Ted anything. She then says "Khan is manic depressive" which is the same thing as bipolar
>>
>>89023251
Alright you convinced me. That leaves
- might lose his son or the house
- saw his friend's life destroyed by divorce
That's a pretty good reason not to get a divorce. And I mean, if that other woman was willing to let Dale cheat on his wife, she probably has no qualms about cheating on Dale, so he'd just be setting himself up again, this time with no son and no home.
>>
>>89023552
Rangers are law enforcement officers, yes.
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Texas_Ranger_Division#Duties
>>
>>89022817
He steals cable from Hank and says he pays it
>>
I remember Redcorn actually said he slept with Hank's friends wife, & Dale just assumed he was taking about Bill.
>>
Wait a minute I have a wife
>>
>>89023552
Yes they're Law enforcement
>>
>>89022630
Its more of a hobby than a job...
>>
>>89022728
Doubtful, the man caves under even the slightest amount of pressure.
>>
>>89021205

I think there was an episode where Dale was being an asshole to bill and bill got close to doing it but decided against it at the last second
>>
>>89025437
That doesn't fit for one episode when Dale states that he believes John to be gay.
>>
>>89023698
Actually this, thats the reason why Cotton didn't respect Hank, but liked Bobby so much it the end Bobby have the balls to be himself and dosen't give to fuck about what other people think and Cotton respect that shit
>>
>>89021310
>Peggy gets mad that a girl kisses Hank while they were dating and gives him mono.
>Turns out she fucked a guy while they were dating.

Is Peggy the worst character?
>>
>>89023251
>Hell, Dale even went out of his way to help John Redcorn out on many occasions, even going as far as to help him reclaim his lost land, all while asking for little to nothing in return.
If i remeber right at the end of the episode John can believe how much Dale help him without asking for munch even if they weren't close friends and he feels like a piece shit
>>
>>89021167
he's too pure for this world
>>
>>89027627
No, she fucked her gay best friend to find out if he was gay before she met Hank. I'm not saying she isn't the worst character, I'm trying to state the facts
>>
>>89027627
Luanne is the worst character
>>
>>89022586
Fan theories are like assholes. Everyone has one, they all stink, I don't want to see yours unless you're a pretty girl
>>
>>89024485
Probably Reagan
>I miss voting for that man
>>
>>89028456
She's had sex 3 times right
>>
>>89021167
When Hank brought it up in Peggy's Headache, Boomhauer and bill both completely denied it as if it was way to difficult for even them to approach Dale with it. They were worried that Dale would either deny it (like he has been doing) or just lose his mind, lose nancy, lose joseph and ruin his life. Dale knew, he just decided that he wanted to hang on to his life and buried it in his delusions. Dale is a deconstruction of a tinfoil wearing conspiracy nut who cannot face the ultimate conspiracy that is happening in his own home.
>>
>>89023251
dale isn't conscious that he is cucked, he aggressively oppresses any mention. In untitled blake mccormick project Dale was visibly shaken that Nancy and Redcorn were about to reveal redcorn fathering joseph while nancy was fighting with redcorn because she just learnt redcorn fathered another womans child at the same time as fathering hers. Dale shut it all down with 'hanks right the aliens plan is just too complicated lets stop trying to figure it out' This was the real Dale about to break the delusion and become conscious of the affair.
>>
>>89022676
Nancy makes more than dale. I think in one episode she mentions that he only pays the cable bill
>>
I feel bad for Dale
>>
Boggle?
>>
>>89021781
Less status quo than Simpsons, but more than Mission Hill.
>>
>>89030032
Me too. Guy didn't deserve it
>>
>>89022676

Nancy is a TV news personality.

Dale kills bugs.
>>
Always had conflicted feelings for John Redcorn as a character. He often bitches about how the white man took away his pride, but he's making a comfy living as a masseuse while sleeping with half the women in Arlen. But most of his pursuits outside of that (becoming a rock star, trying to connect with his one other family member) crash hard, so he's in that uneasy position of never being able to get anywhere up in life while everyone of his friends has an uneasy trust with him due to what he did to Dale.
