Sounds like a long time to spend on the paladins separately since they took so long to start forming some cohesion in the first season but if it gives a chance to flesh them out more then that's fine. Though Pidge is already the most well-developed character of the cast so a whole episode about her seems excessive when other characters desperately need it more (I'm looking at you, Kardboard).

I think he won't even switch lions, at least not permanently. They made such a big deal out of the bonds between lions and the characteristics of each lion matching the paladin, even including physical traits, like Keith being the character with the most agility and Red being the fastest lion. There is also the fact that one of the producers (can't rememeber if it was Lauren or Joaquim) said it bothered them that the pilots' outfits didn't match their lions, so they wanted everyone to be properly color-coded in VLD.

So yeah, I think he'll become the True MC and maybe even act as a leader at some point but he'll stay with Red.

So I started watching this thing...
The first hour-long episode feels like a clusterfuck, too much shit happened in an hour but I guess they had to stablish the narrative, still the pacing... I don't think it was good.
I watched like 4 episodes, last one I think was the fall of the lion temple or something.
I knew the green guy was a girl, but I would have liked if the show tried to hide it for a bit longer, the way Shiro reveals it is kinda meh.
Best joke so far for me was when they formed Megazord and the yellow guy yells "I am a leg!" that was pretty great.

I don't even know why I like the ship so much but I'm hoping pance becomes canon in the next couple seasons. Finally saw the nycc isolated Pidge episode and my first thoughts after she said it was OK because no one would be there to annoy her and then cuts scene to her Junk Friends was that she misses Lance. As he's the most annoying and all.

I hope not. The further back they push Lotor's introduction, the more I worry that they're going to make him way too dark and serious and lose what made him so fun in the original series. He's a legitimate threat, but he needs the camp to shine.

Right now Pance is in that comfy zone of where there isn't any solid evidence for it, it's just as "it'd be nice" type scenario.

If they throw in any actual hint that they like each other, like Lance making Pidge blush or vice versa, it'll cause an increase in autism because the fans who want Lance to get with Keith or some other person will get up in arms, as well as the people who want Pidge to be an asexual genderfluid gremlin. Because it will mean their ship won't happen in the show, and their ship won't "win."

They'll lash out at the Pance ship, causing some people who liked it to lash out back at them, starting a big shitshow.

I hope it happens anyways, along with Kallura so we can see the fireworks.

Here's how I'm hoping it goes. Season two confirms they enjoy each other's company. No words, just show them together more often than not. Season three showing stuff like blushing or jealousy. Then season four having one of them admit to themselves they do like the other, again hopefully non-verbally. Then seasons five and six just make it not a big deal if it happens.
