I was excited to see more of Lapiz, not that she would be an interesting character, but because she became my waifu. I feel that the writers didn't have anything in mind for her, with her just sitting in the barn doing pretty much nothing. I guess she is only interesting to see as the focus of the episode, and there isn't much reason for her to be the focus. She isn't officially a crystal gem, and that would be nice to see.
