I meet him at a con. He's a really fucking chill guy.

He's one of those writers who writes really well in his comfort zone, which is monsters and villains. The other thing I notice with him is that he always aims really high for what he wants to do with his series. For example, his goal with Fearless Defenders was including every Marvel female in the book, which is why ones like No-Name the Brood and Delphie showed up. It seems that his Monsters Unleashed aims for every Keiju sized Monster in one event.

You know I intended on ignoring Monsters Unleashed but now I think I'm going to read it. I loved Bunn's Venom run and I am interested in reading more by him and the event will probably be a lot of fun. Also who knows maybe he'll find a way to squeeze Mania into it?
