Is this Girl Meets World episode alright?

Delete this casual ASAP.

It's weird how they used that and not Marvels or anything since it's Disney.

I don't think Marvel has any "iconic" stories. DC has Death of Superman, Dark Knight Returns, Action Comics #1, Watchmen, even Whatever Happened to the Man of Tomorrow? I only really like one of those, can you guess which it is? Personally I wish What's so funny about Truth, Justice, and the American Way was iconic. I'm probably missing a few. What does Marvel have? Spider-Man? Fantastic Four? X-Men? I don't even know what their number 1 comic cover is.

The only one I can think of is Civil War.
Kinda sucks, since I've been getting into Marvel, but, unlike DC, there aren't many individual volumes or standalone stories where I can pick up a character or setting.

How many "X Meets World" are there?
Ha, this show was cancelled.

Two: The original "Boy Meets World" and the more recent sequel series "Girl Meets World".
Both are now cancelled. Meanwhile, I have no idea what other shows Disney Channel has nowadays. They stopped making blatant starlet vehicles and are trying to go for ensemble casts.

>cancelled
Boy Meets World ended. But yeah, Girl was cancelled

Civil War is Marvel's iconic story. Marvels exists but it didn't really have any impact, and I've heard people talk about a Squadron Supreme book but I've never read it.
Marvel has just never had quality writers in their stable, save for maybe Miller's Daredevil.

Spider-Man Blue could have worked.

Off the top of my head
>Captain America: Winter Soldier
>Daredevil: Born Again
>Nextwave
>Punisher: Welcome Back, Frank
>Superior Foes of Spider-Man

This is b8 but The Death of Captain Marvel, Kraven's Last Hunt and God Loves Man Kills, Marvels, Infinity Gauntlet, The Galactus Saga, Korvac Saga, Kree-Skrull War, Born Again and Squadron Supreme jump out as classic Marvel stories before even the last 20 years and that's just off the top of my head.
