One of the things I always loved about Azumanga Daioh is that the stereotypical "cute" character Chiyo-chan was the brunt of a lot of the physical comedy. She would get volleyballs to the head, pushed over in penguin costumes, and suffer all sorts of stuff. Lesser shows would just have her be cute and moe and...that's it.

On the side note
>Transformers Prime
>In the Japanese dub of Prime, Airachnid's personality is completely different from her original interpretation. In the dub, she is a bubbly, giggling, high-strung chatterbox that is obsessed with collecting the heads of "handsome boys" as trophies rather than endangered creatures. Played up as something of a female Pepe Le Pew, she constantly swoons over Jack, calling him her "hunk," her "darling," her "cutie Jack-chan" and various other lovey-dovey remarks as she amorously pursues him (even going so far as to sing love songs to him, mid-chase). When she finally catches Jack near the end of "Mystery Insect Transformation! Forest of the Spider Woman!", she even proposes marriage to him.

The only memorable thing about Ice King was in "Betty" when he loses his powers and Death is looking for him, but at the last minute he gets them back and Death says to him, in a truly apologetic tone "You lose, Simon. Sorry, man."

Going off of your picture:

>Luffy being made of rubber means he's essentially immune to Enel's otherwise OP lightning powers
>>
>>88924397
Not OP but that instantly reminded me of Chrono Cross for PlayStation. Was quite the surprise halfway through the game.
>>
>>88927501
I know better than to discuss anime around here, but being made of rubber definitely doesn't make him immune to Enel's lightning-fast movement and reflexes. He fucking threw that fight and I'm never getting over it.
>>
>>88926012
Just high school drama. There was this guy in my anime club I liked, he was down to earth and well-spoken, not super hot but he was clean cut and, y'know, decent looking by nerd standards. He didn't date and was kind of shy around girls but he was open with me which made me think maybe there were possibilities there.

We hung out for months and gradually got really close. I could cuddle him while we were watching Inuyasha or whatever and it wasn't weird. It basically got as real as it can be without actually officially dating or being 'together'. Then he started going out with this 9/10 volleyball chick he met through one of his friends and that was it. We stopped spending time together and slowly he stopped coming to club meetings altogether because she was more important. I still don't know what the fuck her problem was. She could have had anybody but she took him.
