The innocent angelic Inhumans are being attacked by those dastardly evil Mutants! Will they be able to defend their city and protect their Sacred Terrigen Cloud from being destroyed by people too lazy to just move off-planet?

So what book will Johnny be in once this event is over?

This ship will never make sense.
Anyway he's a current member of the Uncanny Avengers and that book seems to be doing fine.

Yu seems to be quite fond of those overly spread legs dramatic poses
>>
>>88909158
Huh I guess medusa and the inhumans would know about stealing a species future
>>
>>88909142
Isn't that Medusa's handmaiden who died? Errr, whoops? I guess we're going by Green Lantern rules, where there's no rules.
>>
>>88909158
Well, this does look cooler than the "Hair slips into Iron Man's Armor" scene from CW2
>>
>>88909142
Well they don't know about the whole "all mutants will die in two weeks" thing and as it stands the system was the X-men find mutants in the cloud's path and the Inhumans use their ships to save them. Everybody wth M-pox now got hit before they knew about it. Plus she probably expected them to attack the cloud first.
>>
>>88909580
The last time the X-men tried that the Inhumans teleported in on a dog and shot Sunfire and Alchemy out of the sky and murdered Cyclops
>>
What POSSIBLE leg do the Inhumans have to stand on regarding their shitty fucking cloud when containing the cloud not only saves mutants but even benefits the inhumans too.
>>
>>88909679
The cloud is Isreal. It barely matters in the long run.
>>
>>88909740
No, Attilan is Israel. The cloud is... A bunch of Jewish women's uteruses? Jerusalem? Money?
>>
>>88909776
The cloud is zyklon-b
>>
>>88909158
Even if the reason they're fighting could be argued to be unreasonable, I'll admit I'm eager to see how this plays out. Will they at least talk it out before dishing it out?
>>
>>88909679
Nobody has even suggested containing it. The x-men just want to destroy it and the inhumans want it around. Containing it would solve all the problems, so of course nobody is doing it. It is just as bad as cw2 where carol just had to go full fascist. Event induced stupidity is in full effect.
>>
>>88910100

>Storm literally controls the weather
>no one has thought to try and contain the cloud

Marvel events from Civil War and Secret Wars onward have always had two big problems.

1. In a world of limitless possibilities, reality warpers, and super geniuses everything comes down to a simple binary. Avengers or X-men. Pro or anti registration. Blow up the incursion Earth or let everything die. Marvel characters aren't the most creative bunch.

2. The characters act with the emotional and social maturity of teenagers or feuding pro wrestlers.
>>
>>88910629
Hammond is working for SHIELD

He's currently hunting down the Squadron Supreme in revenge for them killing Namor
>>
>>88910606

Fun fact: when Attilan was still located on the Moon, a group of Kree refugees escaped from the galactic genocide at the end of Operation Galactic Storm and tried to resettle on the Blue Area of the Moon. The whole thing had awful 90s art but was a transparent metaphor the Israel and Palestine, I think it's been storytimed here.
Found it >>57525694 of course link is dead and archive lost the moe images. It was called "Inhumans: the great refuge" if you want to track it down

That's pretty lame walkback
>>
>>88911257
It's what always happens. Writer makes a hero go evil, a later writer has to explain that he/she was posessed/mind-controlled by a bad guy so that the character isn't irreparably damaged.
Happened to Hal Jordan, Cassandra Cain and a bunch of others.
>>
>roccafort isnt doing the art anymore
Whats the point of reading this again? The only cute inhuman is off making her own memories and the x-men are largely idiots or psychotic.
>>
>>88911349
Well Johns at least had the decency to pump out an epic while he wanked to Hal.
>>

>>
>>88909142
If you still don't know why the x-men are there you may want to turn OFF those cannons.
>>
>>88912450
The funny thing is their defense plan is protocol X.
They knew all along that the X-Men would attack.
Maybe a trap fom the inhumans? They knew and pushed the mutants to war?
>>
>>88911917
In Medusa's defense, she was amnesiac or something at the time.
>>
Inhumans are great at making Monarchies look like a creepy inferior form of government.
>>
>>88909740
No, the Inhumans are muslims, the cloud is a mixture of the religious mandate of islamic expansion and the migrant crisis.

Terrigenesis, though it's originally alien super-science, is a religious rite for the Inhumans.

Meanwhile, Mutants always were a metaphor for gays. The cloud (expansion of islamism) is killing mutants (gays) or driving them out, and when the mutants tried to stop the cloud from killing them, the Inhuman royals (I guess a sect of extremist muslims? Isis?) responded by killing the leader of the mutants. And now the mutants are fighting back, so they response is KILL MORE MUTANTS.

TL;DR: Inhumans have been a lot of metaphors over the years, but now they're Muslims, and they're killing the metaphor for gays. But somehow, it's the gays who are being portrayed as evil.
>>
>>88913673
So they're an accurate representation of monarchies then?
>>
>>88914199
>Mutants always were a metaphor for gays
>always
they weren't, unless you think that gays can eyebeam you
>>
>>88910100
>>88910128
Inhumans are against changing it in any way. Which is fucking weird because it actually has a higher lethality rate than contained Terrigen.

Cyclops (Emma, in reality) changed part of the cloud so that it was harmless to mutants. They murdered him for it.
>>
>>88914650
Didn't he attack first?
>>
>>88914199

>>

>what are metaphors

Marginalized, based on their nature ("born this way"), their differences usually manifest during adolescense, etc.

Granted, mutants also were meant to represent racial minorities, but as time went on, they became more and more about the sexual minorities.

Even the stupid fucking movies had that line "have you ever tried, you know... not being a mutant?"
>>
>>88914805
Read a book sometime. Lee and Kirby didn't even have gays in their radar while making X-Men. In their very original form, they were probably a metaphor for Jews.
>>
>>88914803
Died. Knew what was happening, died laughing anyway.
>>
>>88914805
Don't be a casual
X-Men are just a disenfranchised group
Frankly, anyone can identify with them

If I was mean, I would say that they work both as metaphor for right-wing as well as left-wing

I mean, they are a militant hidden group of people who consider themselves superior, and they fight for their race

Medusa tells Black Bolt to kill him right before he's finished his speech, before his eyes are even glowing.

Either way, she says that what he's done will make him their enemy forever for some reason.

>>
>>88909069

>>
>>88915125

according to solicits, X-Men will cuck inhumans again in issues #2-5
>>
>>88915153
It's about time the X-Team just roughly put it in someone's pooper. They have been jobbing for too damn long.
>>
>>88911257
It wasn't really a walkback.
She went insane in the original event so its not really her fault regardless.
>>
>>88915211
marvel wants x-fags back, since their sales fail miserably. it's a trap of course, but I'm curious if it's going to work, because frankly, they reached the FUBAR point
>>
>>88915153
That means inhumans will win, they will be portrait as the underdogs and win at the end.
>>
>>88915223
damn DC chaos magic, way too powerful for its own good
>>
>>88915292
I love that headcanon.
>>
>>88915290
I think it means more that Emma is going to be another mutant to be killed. Meanwhile marvel introduces overpowered shithumans and let's them become major players. It's frustrating
>>
>>88915290
We already know the Inhumans lose.

Their upcoming books are all about how the Royals have been banished from Earth and Black Bolt has been dropped in space jail.

My guess is the book ends with all the nuhumans like Kamala deciding that they don't want to be on Queen Genocide's side. The way the Inhumans are being treated already makes them look like a creepy cult that preys on the vulnerable - Medusa's dialogue with the young Inhumans in the first issue, "Trust your queen", etc.
>>
>>88909158
Please be publicly executed
>>
>>88915245

Also they know Inhumans is fucked as a film concept (They are bargaining down to TV series now) and X-Men Apocalypse bombing put Fox on notice so Feige can get back on bargaining ground with Fox (Who are more receptive to talks now) and Perlmutter can't say shit no more because he's no longer got any say in the MCU.

>>88915406

Nah. She's probably going to get away and turn heel for a while. Probably in a new Frightful Four. They wrote themselves in a corner with it.
>>
>>88915245
Sadly the nature of serialized fiction means that any book is salvageable with enough good writing. The problem is x-fags don't get well written books too often.
>>
>>88914199
Ever since some anon brought this up the first time, the inhumans v mutants rivalry has been hilarious. It's only appropriate that Marvel with their incompetent tumblr-pandering writers and editors who don't exist would accidentally write a metaphor like this.
>>
>>88915670
>X-Men Apocalypse bombing
it didn't bomb. it bargained more money than Dr Strange
>>
>>88915696

Strange had less budget and Apocalypse bombed in foreign markets (Especially with no China release either). US it only did OK. Not the roaring numbers Deadpool did. But it was pretty unspectacular for a Summer Blockbuster Tentpole.

Plus the MCU is potential mountains of money for Fox as long as they don't get utterly fucked by Disney's lawyers like Sony did so they will likely go to the table and can a deal for it (If I were them, split the merch/licencing rights with Marvel, but hold their asses to the fire regarding legacy home/streaming/TV rights. They need X-Men and FF more than Fox does).
>>
>>88915402
>We already know the Inhumans lose.

Are you sure? Marvel is so retarded they might make the inhumans win, you know, just becouse.
>>
>>88915975
>summer
it was in may, right after Civil war (which was a dumb move by fox)

frankly, I don't really care much for the movies, t b h, and Deadpool was the last cape movie I watched in cinema. I just remember that there was a massive campaign on /co/ to shit on this movie long before it was released, which felt suspicious
>>
>>88915402
More likely it is self imposed exile. The X-men and especially the Nuhumans couldn't convince the royal family to leave the planet and not take Attilan with them. Plus Kamala is on a team with Karnak. Most likely royal family destroy the cloud themselves and the pure blooded Inhumans give them trouble. Marvel won't vilify the Inhumans more than they already have.
>>
>>88916037
There is something funny about it, because DoX was apparently supposed to show that X-Men were in the wrong. It's really hard to tell what marvel wants, as none of the post-IvX books have "inhuman" in its title
>>
>>88916037
>More likely it is self imposed exile
Probably. Royals is about the Inhumans going to the ruins of Hala with the specific goal of finding out the secrets of Terrigenesis. While there they run into Ronan the Accuser, who is still bitter over the whole forced divorce and the Inhumans abandoning the Kree Empire after he had pledged his loyalty.
>>
>>88916112
No one cares, shill.
>>
>>88914852
>>88914876
They represent just minorities or some that think they are different or ugly.

Spiderman is the teen/person that is surpressed, laughed at, but in reality is the hero.
X-Men are the ones that feel different and haunted by the society. Teens that have awkward hobbies, big noses or acne. Minorities like black or gays.

Hulk is the one that is inteligent, but gets angry and violent.

Thats what Stan Lee and Kirby went for. They are kinda today mythology. They used basic rolemodels that greeks used as storytelling.
